A fractus cloud crashes into the John Hancock Center.

Set Description: Still trying to prove that the best time to visit the skydeck is when the weather is at its worst.

A St. Patrick's Day sunset as seen from the Nichols Bridgeway at the Art Institute of Chicago.

I was hoping to catch the sun setting at the horizon, but a low bank of clouds moved in just in time to block the setting sun.

The view from 360 Chicago or Hancock is always stunning. Even more so when the sky lights up like firework factory going up in flames. I'm heading out to Kansas City and St. Louis this Memorial Day weekend. Any suggestions on where to shoot in either of those cities?

All is quiet in University Village as the brunt of the storm moves out of the area.

Set Description:

The first real thunderstorm of the year in Chicago, so I made sure to get a nice view of the skyline...
