Buxom was born at Port Lympne Zoo in 1982 and is the full brother of Bixa and half brother of his ally Jestah. He came to Monkey World from Windsor Safari Park when it closed down. Buxom is a large, high ranking chimp who can sometimes be a bit of a bully.

Monkey World in Dorset is the largest sanctuary for primates in the world.
I have been visiting this place since the 90's and have seen it expand, it has over 250 primates most of which have been rescued from labs, poor owners, and the pet trade.
On the day I visited there was a storm, which meant all the monkeys where confined to their playrooms as a consequence all these were shot through glass, as you can imagine this presented several challenges.

These two naughty boys knew exactly what they were doing.
The one on top then went to take care of one of the ladies from behind... BAM-BAM! He'd then run around and come back for a bit more BAM-BAM! She didn't seem to notice.
The blacks are all yuck. Scanned on a really crap scanner. And I've lost the negs...
