The art of "Chimping" are you a closet Chimper!? ;)

"Chimping is a colloquial term used in digital photography to describe the habit of checking every photo on the camera display (LCD) immediately after capture."

This Puffin on Skomer last year did the perfect flyby, unfortunate timing for this chap as he was to busy Chimping! ;)

.

Thanks to those who look and take the time to comment, it's very much appreciated.

What one does after taking a picture with a digital camera and looking at the result. Derived from the words they speak when chimping : "Ooo-oo-oo !!!

LE CHIMPING, OU FAUT-IL REGARDER L’ÉCRAN DE SON APPAREIL APRÈS UN CLICHΓ‰ ?

__________________________________________________

A few of the chimps at Chester Zoo. Looks like one has found someones rubbish (trash)

Taken through glass

Chimps live in vast social communities, consisting of up to about 100 individuals and comprising several family groups. They have strict hierarchies, with one dominant alpha male....

What was so funny? Shot with Tamon 50-400 on Nikon Zf.

The bronze sculptures "Chimps Are Family"are placed between London Bridge and Tower Bridge on the south side of the river. The sculptures show 18 different behaviours and emotions shown by chimps β€” with whom we humans share 98% 0f our DNA β€” including love, grief, friendship and conflict.

Sculptors: Gillie & Marc.

Sue caught me chimping a photo. It was taken in tough conditions, and I can't remember if I had to retake the shot or not.

Chimping refers to checking you photos on the LCD screen.
