This was Adam's childhood dresser, complete with crazy vintage stickers all over. After much debate we decided that we wanted to use it for our baby and we decided to update it completely. I took these pictures for nostalgia purposes. :)
This is taken in my grandmother's house, I used to live there as a child, until about just under ten years ago. This is how I remember it, nothing has changed.

Taken with a Ricoh 35 ZF & expired film.
A recurrent theme of the French Impressionist Berthe Morisot (1841-1895) was the portrayal of domestic scenes and childhood.

upon reflection of childhood memories and how i was bought up, i began to think about how children today are being raised by their parents; do they have the same appreciation and connection with nature that was inprinted on me as a child?

For those who have young children, there is no question that curiosity is one of their main traits. I caught my daughter peeking out our blinds with my trusty D300s. I wonder after taking this picture, what would our world be like if we never lost that childhood curiosity? Some people don't ever lose it, and become physicists, astronomers, scientists. Next time you wonder about something, don't drop it and carry on; remain curious, you might learn something new.
