This was Adam's childhood dresser, complete with crazy vintage stickers all over. After much debate we decided that we wanted to use it for our baby and we decided to update it completely. I took these pictures for nostalgia purposes. :)

..found in a drawer.

My husband wore them when he was 5 years old.

This is taken in my grandmother's house, I used to live there as a child, until about just under ten years ago. This is how I remember it, nothing has changed.

LIFE IS NOT LIKE A BOX OF ROSES

@ Stenbergdagen (Toten, Norway)

A recurrent theme of the French Impressionist Berthe Morisot (1841-1895) was the portrayal of domestic scenes and childhood.

using wild flowers or 'weeds' with roses to create a personal, ironic concept.

inspired by the work of Tracey Bush..

'the average adult can recognise hundreds of brand logo's but less than 10 wild plants..'

upon reflection of childhood memories and how i was bought up, i began to think about how children today are being raised by their parents; do they have the same appreciation and connection with nature that was inprinted on me as a child?

Wow, are those yellow socks and sandles I am wearing?

For those who have young children, there is no question that curiosity is one of their main traits. I caught my daughter peeking out our blinds with my trusty D300s. I wonder after taking this picture, what would our world be like if we never lost that childhood curiosity? Some people don't ever lose it, and become physicists, astronomers, scientists. Next time you wonder about something, don't drop it and carry on; remain curious, you might learn something new.

Scenes from the Childhood of Christ. Painted glass roundels set in bottle glass and now in the Jesus chapel of St Mary in the Baum, Rochdale, Lancashire but moved from the original church, which was built as a chapel of ease to the parish church of St Chad in 1742.
