Inside the international exhibition "ceramic art London 2022" (Central Saint Martins, Granary Square). Ceramic figurine by Jemma Gowland. The little girl does have a balloon, but she must wear a mask in order to be a girl. From early childhood on, she has to conform to an appearance and a prescribed code of behaviour - meeting the expectations of others.
My late grandmother bought this little dachshund for me even before I was born. This little cutie accompanied my early childhood and has been staying with me until today

I found these children’s buckets and spades in the sand dunes at the seaside resort of Mullaghmore, Co. Sligo, a couple of days ago but of children there was no sign.
Roskva is the heaviest, hardest, and strongest of the trolls. Every day, Roskva climbs towards the sky, and every year she grows taller and wider. If a troll forgets something, they can always ask Roskva—she counts the seasons and remembers everything. This troll can be seen in the forests of the Costal Maine Botanical Gardens, in Boothbay, Maine.
The trolls were created by Thomas Dambo who lives and works in Copenhagen. Dambo has become one of the fastest-growing personalities in the Scandinavian art world. As a child, he would scavenge his neighborhood for discarded wood for his projects, carting it home on his bicycle. This childhood love of “treasure” hunting certainly foreshadowed his now global troll hunts.
This ornament goes back to my childhood years.

This doll dates from my childhood. I received this little doll, it did not have clothes on and the little bed was not covered. My dad (a tailor) made a little mattress and bed coverings and my mum knitted the little costume.

During my childhood, I enjoyed playing outside my neighbors' house. They were an old couple. They loved gardening and usually found special logs to place their plants. I missed the old lady and her warm and tender smiles, just like the flowers blooming in her garden.
