It seems that unlike in sg, there are many parents who are not over protective of their kids. Bringing them to island hop/beaches, letting them get in touch with the deep blue sea.

"Six of Cups", ©TaraFly, 2016. Acrylics on stretched canvas, measuring 16"x20".

This piece was published in the 78Tarot Carnival deck, as the Six of Cups, which represents lost childhood, nostalgia, and happy memories.

Objects from my childhood

life is not a box of roses

When we were downtown Saturday for the Easton Farmer's Market, we also stopped into the Carmelcorn Shop on Centre Square and loaded up on goodies that we shouldn't eat. I decided to make a photo of my haul. Not shown---Dark chocolate covered coffee beans---GONE!!! Maybe I can get my niece to eat the candy cigarettes... I quit smoking 20 years ago and don't even want to chance it. Other childhood favorites of mine not in photo--Goetz's Caramel Cremes, Turkish Taffy, Swedish Fish, Non-pareils, Mary Janes, Bit O Honey, Milk Duds and Goldenberg's Peanut Chews. Talk about feeling "like a kid in a candy store"!!!!!!

I was at my parents' house on january the 1st. I was browsing my childhood LEGO and shoot some photos.

There are only two original boxes, but there are more parts in two big boxes.

Someday I will try to sort it all...

LIFE IS NOT A BOX OF ROSES

I have been tagged by ggsdolls, and want to show you my childhood toys.

Two dolls have survived , and I still have them. I haven't had many toys, most of them are on this picture. Only a few ones are missing, like this monkey, which was playing music, and another doll, I'm still looking for (I'm sure, she's not lost). I also had a pram for my dolls .

But no dollhouse, sorry!

I you play, I'll be happy, to see your childhood toys (even if I have not added you to this picture)

Theres me and my brother on the beach as children (in BDA). I'm the grumpy one in the foreground, I am pissed because I don't want to leave. (And because I think I look fat....)

These are not digitally altered. There are old film negatives that have been bleached, salted, scratched, painted, etc. and then scanned into my computer.

An old beat up toy car and some fishing weights from when I was a kid.
