I walk by this tree and house often when I’m walking around the neighborhood. It’s so lovely and I love the iconic white picket fence that wraps around the property.

I found this little twisted cherry tree on an evening walk just as the sun was about to set.

位於七谷川沿岸的寧靜大道長約一公里，但櫻花樹數量多達1500株，如果覺得這個數字難以想像，那麼提供各位參考的是哲學之道長約兩公里約500株，醍醐寺約800株，這一兩年火紅的八幡市背割堤為250株，以數量而言，七谷川櫻花數量多上好幾倍，可說非常壯觀，滿開時，小橋流水，傍山偎河，目光遍及之處盡是粉櫻。

Two days later, (after a rain storm), and the male Yellow-rumped Warbler, (Audubon's), was still singing and feeding on nectar from the cherry blossoms in Lillian-Hoffar Park, BC.; affording me another opportunity to capture him.

Cjherry Blossoms..

Last Thursday we went for a walk to Joyce Archdekin Park to get a few shots of the Japanese Sakura cherry trees which are in bloom. This is the earliest I can remember that they are blooming, usually we have to wait till the second or third week of May.

It started reining the next day and since then the constant rain has taken all the blooms off of the trees. Luckily we took that opportunity to get those shots.

After a frought weekend here is a nice relaxing and spring type capture to take in the lovely blossom of next door's flowering cherry tree . This is only a very small part of this explosion of pink , it was taken a few days ago now and quite a few petals are now on the ground .

Every year the cherry blossoms in High Park, Toronto, draw tens of thousands of visitors. The trees themselves were a gift from Japan in 1959. A gift that keeps on giving.

A starling in the cherry tree. One of many that visit this tree every year and eat most of the cherries.

That's not a bad thing, though, because the birds were given unrestricted permission to harvest several years ago.

Ein Star im Kirschbaum. Einer von sehr vielen, die diesen Baum jedes Jahr besuchen und den überwiegenden Teil der Kirschen fressen.

Das ist jedoch keineswegs schlimm, denn die Vögel haben schon vor einigen Jahren die uneingeschränkte Ernteerlaubnis erhalten.
