The night scene (around the moat only) of Hikone Castle is also nice.
I enjoyed for a while.

During this month the cherry trees at the village (and there are a lot of them) are in full blossom.

Along the tidal basin in Washington D.C. the Cherry Blossoms peaked 20 days earlier this year from 2015.
Finally heading out for some Lunar New Year festivities... It's nice to see some Chinese New Year decorations. We arrived early so it's rather dark as the mall lights are not switched on yet.... :D

These Japanese crepe sweets are so pretty that I don't want to eat them. Love the pretty salted cherry leaf outside and the smooth tasty red bean inside.

I spent this morning picking these from my back garden and couldn't resist taking a picture.
This is probably one of my favourites from 2008.
