If I understand the Austrian government's new restrictive measures well, I still will be allowed to go on photo walks alone the next time, provided that I avoid gatherings.

Red cherry sage blooming by the house hedge. Taken on a walk around the sunset time.
Cherry sage is the common name for Salvia microphilla, Salvia greggii, and Salvia х jamensis (a hybrid between S. microphilla and S. greggii).
It's perched on the buds of a milkweed. This past summer I saw many more of these than in the past few years. Fingers crossed that this trend continues. Happy Monday!

There are many varieties of Cherry trees and these may be my favorite. They bloom later when the others are done and the blossoms are huge. These 2 gems are in the neighborhood and are real show stoppers! HTMT!
a tree across the street and another one in a nearby backgarden.. all cherries have been picked last week..
so enjoying their sweet taste!
