I knew when I saw this I was going to have to try it!
You really don't taste the cheese once they are covered but the sweet crunch is wonderful and no Orange fingers!
I was told they taste like Cap'n Crunch cereal ,Carmel Corn and some that just couldn't place the flavors even while they looked right at the shape :)) Nobody was sure if they really liked them or not because they were so different yet in the end they were all gone:))
I just kind of stood back and watched while everyone kept going back for more and I kept refilling the bowl .LOL
Caramel Covered Cheetos.....

In a large pan, mix sugar, margarine or butter and corn syrup. Bring to a boil. Boil 5 minutes, stirring often. Remove from heat and add soda. Stir until light in color and foamy.
Pour Cheetos in a large bowl. Pour caramel mixture over the Cheetos and stir, coating each piece. Transfer to a large roasting/jelly roll pan (15x10). Bake for 1 hour, stirring every 15 minutes.
Remove from oven and spread out into a single layer on some non-stick aluminum foil. Break into pieces once it has stared to cool.

This is my other kitty Cheeto. He is a beautiful Manx. I had to search my external hard drive high and low for this shot, but couldn't find it so I downloaded a copy off of my facebook. I think he is sooooo cute :)
