Cheshire, Massachusetts was the only town in the Berkshires to favor Thomas Jefferson in the 1800 presidential election. When Jefferson won, the town decided to send him an enormous wheel of cheese made from the milk of every cow in town. The trip to Washington took three weeks and the cheese was presented to Jefferson on January 1st, 1802. Critics thought the cheese wheel was a silly waste and insultingly called it "mammoth", which may have been the first usage of mammoth as meaning "big".
The slightly less mammoth wheel of cheese was still in the White House in 1804 when it was described as "very far from being good"
The concrete monument is the same size as the cheese, four feet in diameter and eighteen inches thick. It was dedicated in 2021 and is only on display from May to October.
I've been accustomed to see cheese and rolls for high tea buffets, but this is the first time I've several kinds of cheese to choose from a breakfast buffet in a hotel coffee house.
As much as I'd love to try cheese for breakfast, I decided to pass on this dairy spread. At least, not while on a vacation which I don't want to risk getting sick on unusual foods. 😁

This location opened on September 4th, 1999 and closed on May 29th, 2020. It reopened in July 2021.
An expansion of the set of cheese slopes that LEGO offers. Currently the lowest one plus a double-wise are all that exist. I'm proposing a couple of double slopes and a couple of corner slopes. If you'd like to see these become reality, consider supporting it on Cuusoo.

What a great weekend...
It begun with a car accident and then I had to extract my wisdom tooth, yeah yeah I do have 4 of them although I am still 14 years old :Pp!
It begun when I felt like electric pulses are moving from my gum to my brain, it's hurts like hell...I thought it was because of the route canal treatment I had months ago.
So I went to the dentist and he checked the x-rays of the tooth but he said that it was fine, i replied if it was fine why it hurts like hell?
So...He used a metallic tool to bang on my tooth, then he asked if it hurts?
I said well, I feel nothing because I just had 3 different kinds of pain killers LOL
He asked me to take a second x-ray for my both jaws and I did, and that's when I noticed the wisdom tooth was pressing on my other teeth :+
Plus 3/4 of it was buried in the gum so I had to preform a surgery to extract it :(
Then he told me that I have big teeth and my wisdom tooth didn't find enough space to pop up correctly and now it's pressing against my nerve. And that probably the reason of my 2 years old - constant - headache which I already had an appointment for on 20th of August in the nerve hospital but I probably will not go.
Anyway way I had an appointment to extract it and I just did, I could open my mouth widely for the next 48 hours....Currently I have a endless pain, 2 stitches in my gum and a tiny headache.
From now on I will make sure to brush my teeth 987324082932 times instead of 3 times a day!

The Macro Mondays theme this week is “Say Cheese!” and it required using real cheese. I can’t eat cheese, as I am allergic to it, so I bought a bag of finely shredded cheese and played. See my photostream for the results of my play.
I was reasearching cheeses at Kroger today as part of a discussion on Facebook. Kroger, I-55, Jackson, Mississippi.
I opened this pack of cheese today, I noticed that there's a little picture of scissors just where I'm cutting. There is no similar picture at the other end. I never realised that cheese is sold in right & left-handed packs – or are left-handed people not expected to eat cheese? That can't be right as both my mother and my wife were left-handed and we ate cheese … but maybe not this sort 😳
