I had to go to the Hospital today to have an intestinal checkup. They put me asleep for it. Still not feeling very well. I'll get the results next Friday or Monday. First thing I asked the nurse when I woke up was to take a picture of me for Flickr.. :-).

I started the walk with Bonny and mrs P this morning. I turned back after a few hundred yards. The knee is definitely improving.
We had an appointment at the Dentist's today - just for a checkup. I'm pleased to say no problems reported. We were planning to have lunch at the local Abbey Hotel but Mrs P had had some gel placed on a tooth and was told not to eat or drink for an hour. Back home then! There will be other opportunities for the lunch.
I spoke with Sandra last night in France (the widow of a good friend of mine, as she is too). We have agreed dates for me to visit her at the end of June. With that confirmed I have now booked the flights and car. I now have to negotiate the red tape that is Covid passes and e111 health certificates.
In the meantime, one of my credit cards had been blocked. After a 40 minute wait on the phone I was told that it was a 'system changeover issue' and not my fault. Grrr.

Someone abandoned a kitten at our apartment complex. After feeding it for 3 nights, Carolyn was finally able to trap it. After 3 nights in the closet and bathroom, it was finally calmed down enough so that we could take to the vets for a checkup. It fluffy Red Tabby male, about 14 weeks old. It is Fe Luk and FIV negative, so it can mix with the other cats and get socialized enough that we can find it a home.

Rotary Club of Kalyan Riverside has orgamised a medical chck camp for students, children, women and senior citizens of a small village. Total beneficiaries were near to 200. Some medicines & multi vitamins were also distributed. The day was also a Polio immunisation day i.e. 21st March, 2010
