The better half wanted to go to the shops so I thought I'd get a lift with her to get 920 somewhere different. The train arrived a few seconds after we did, so I managed to get two pics of it along with a walk.
49 new Covid Delta cases in NZ today and this is the last day of Covid Level 4 lockdown except for Auckland, where all the cases seem to be. Fingers crossed the humbers keep going down.

Why is it, when you CAN'T do something, you find yourself wanting to do that exact thing more than you ever did when you COULD have done it? I've had this tat for a long time. Never had any desire to get it colored in, because it hurt so much the first time. Now that I'm pregnant, I find I finally want to get it finished. Ha! So I had my four-year-old do a less painful update.

Today was a long day. No camera, no spare time, the dark days of winter descending. Some days are like that. So I’m cheating and doing a slight edit of an old favourite. This was day 116 of my first 365 and is still is one of my favs from that project. So here it is again, 8 years later. The woman I was in this photo, she was fierce! And inspires me to this day. While playing Scrabble online, my cheat sheet that's in a clear plastic sleeve, reflected the images on my TV. The results amazed me, because I expected to see text, but I can't see any. This was color adjusted in Photoshop.
The way to get to the top of Snowdon for those who don't fancy the walk. As my brother (3peaker) pointed out, I can't say I am a fan of the new modern carriages but needs must i would guess :(

Evening primrose is designed to be pollinated by moths with long tongues. I watched the honey bees trying to get to the nectar in the usual way but obviously without success. They soon learned that they could get the rewards by chewing a hole through the top of the flower into the nectaries. Smart bees!
A big group of dudes were competing to get across this pit and falling in the ice cold water. all the while towanda was collecting foam pieces. Eventually he quietly piled them together and floated away leaving them speechless.
