For those of you who don't know, "cheaters" is a rather ancient term for sunglasses. So of course I am familiar with it. 😜

And then, one year.
365 days (ok, I’m cheating, not all of them) in a new country, with a new language, new culture, new people.
I've left my house for many reasons, I’m happy and sad at the same time. I can’t believe I did it. Me?! But, yes, I’m here.
Every day is a war, it’s a new challenge. I feel happy, excited, lonely, sad, desperate, motivated. I miss so much my family, my friends, my sea, my.. food.
This time gave me time to think, to know me, and I’m brave, I’m strong. Some days I want to go back home, but inside me I know I can’t be happy as I can be here.
I’m so glad for everything, I’m so lucky, I've had awful experiences as well as good, but it’s life. I’m opening my mind, I'm discovering a wonderful place.
I’m glad for every smile that I've had, for every tear. I’m glad to become who I am. Not a new me, I was hidden, but day by day I’m coming out.
My life is going to change again in a few months, and I’m scared, but positive, ready as always. I don’t know anything about my future, I have only to wait and see.
Happy anniversary to me.

Honey bee on runner bean flower - robbing the nectar and avoiding any pollination duty
The honey bees utilise the holes in the tube of the flower to get the nectar. My runner beans set pods well so I wont get cross with my bees.
I dont think the honey bees are capable of making the holes themselves but they are very quick to find the holes made by others (probably bumble bees make the holes I think)

While sitting at the kitchen table during the Saturday lunch hour, I happened to spot a "heads up" post on a Facebook railroad group from hours earlier about an unusual BNSF lashup leading a road train in northwestern Illinois bound for the Twin Cities. Using followup location postings I was able to form a rough ETA on the nearby St. Croix sub. I then finished lunch, loaded up the kids and we set out to stake out a spot to intercept it for a photo. Within the hour I was able to bag this GALNTW manifest, led by a former Santa Fe "Bluebonnet" GP50.
BNSF 3167 was built as the ATSF 3814 in Febuary 1981.

I see that no good cheat, Dave Jones has been at it again! Hes a low down bum!!! He needs sorting out and I got a plan. I have my trusty steed parked against the wall and Im going to ride off and hunt him down. That song by Ry Cooder. is in my opinion, is the most honest love song ever written.
But of course its ok to laugh but been broken hearted by your first love is horrible. I remember it well and I though I would die!!!
She married a friend of mine afterwards and they are together over 40 years so they were right for one another. I wouldnt have it any other way either so its funny how things work out really!

Update;
My good friend, Peekabo, made a very interesting comment on the graffiti on the wall. Its well written and no spelling errors. I thing maybe its a genuine warning. Maybe the person who wrote it is carrying a torch for Miss Judge.I hope so! We will never know really. Also the names are very English and there is an international students hostel just up the coast from here.
So if anybody knows anything. do let me know!

Playing with actions on ps. This one is called Architekt. Had to do some creative engineering to get it to work with my old ass version of ps. Guarantee I'm gonna do at least two more of these cause they are so fun to play with.
this looks nothing like the original. someday i want to be a film genius so i'll never touch photoshop. sometimes i feel like i'm cheating, you know? because anyone can use photoshop, anyone can edit in a lens blur or some extra lighting. i really admire those who have defined style in film, like the dreamy photos by natalie kucken and craig schlewitz.
I always felt that shooting the 'dupe was cheating. Well, maybe not if it's self-aware. The whole train screams through Sandcut into a storm over the Tehachapi mountains.
After two days of rain, the colors were popping on the road between Babb and Browning in Montana. Only trouble was, the sky was blank white. Got home to Philly and had blue sky with puffy whites. So ... I kinda like cheating. I think I'll take up poker.

from forever ago. basically, i did indeed take photos this week, but they were on film so in the shoppe.
i also broke my lens. the tripod fell, it cracked the lens protector and broke the zoom feature/focus on the lens. fuck.
