Series of two. The highlight on a very quiet day was the charm of goldfinches that I followed along the path from Beachy Head pub to Shooters Bottom. They kept a little distance ahead of me and gave me the chance to get some nice backgrounds to their 'charm'. Best viewed large. Belle Tout lighthouse is in the distance. Decommissioned in 1902.

A beautul young lady, presumably an artist, judging by her, once upon a time, blue jeans, chooses a charm at a booth during the art festival. The beauty is not a model, she is a stranger. Funny candid street photo.

A bit of an abstract shot of approximately 60 Goldfinches foraging for seeds. Not sure how it happened but most of them seem to be in the focal plane, pity they were going in the opposite direction.

Reminds me of one of those Jackson Pollock paint splatter artworks.

Parc Vauban, created in 1865 as Jardin Impératrice, is one of the most popular green spaces of Lille. "As a leisure place, this romantic garden which dates back to the Second Empire provides charm and serenity. Winding paths cross the garden. An artifical grotto feeds the pools, where ducks, swans and moorhen gather. (...) Families take their walks there, joggers use it to train. Newly wed couples have their pictures taken in its ground."

This one took me a while to get as I was waiting for just the right moment. These charms are part of a larger ornament that hangs from my car review mirror. I want to have either frost or heavy dew (got the heavy dew) so I could get the bokeh in the background.
