I collect charms from everyone who cares about me. They serve as a physical reminder when I'm depressed that there are reasons to keep going.
This charm was given to me by love, JD. This is the original charm that came on this chain. This was given to me in 1999 for my first Christmas with JD. It's my birthstone. ^_^
I bought the little Christ the Redeemer and the tinny cross in a flea market in Rio. The shell is from Copacabana beach.
