This is a chipped item from an inherited wheat pattern china set. For Crazy Tuesday theme “missing pieces”. This was mistakenly bumped from the group, but still appreciated the challenge and am impressed with how clear my cell was able to show the chipped portion of this piece.

My take on the "Crazy Tuesday" theme: "Lucky Charm."

Stoics believed that good luck starts with integrity and good character. This Lucky Charm might not bring the owner good luck, it rather reminds him that virtue is the only true good, and that it's sufficient for happiness and doesn't depend on luck. Stoics believed that people can't control everything around them, but they can control how they respond. They believed that people should respond with courage, temperance, wisdom, and justice.

Captured with a fully open Takumar Macro 50mm f/4, mounted on a tilt-shift adapter on my trusty 6D.
