Went to the farmer's market this morning and found a huge nasty spider among some tomatoes, carrying her babies on her back and they were crawling off as I took pictures.. EWWWWW. (Bought some tomatoes and rosemary, and a cute plant of some kind.)
At 2pm I had 'training' at the zoo, basically learning about polar bears and seals. Not bad at all. Ela the keeper was friendly. Later Sarah came over and we played rock band and looked for all the horrific prom dress photos on facebook and played with Charizard (her birthday present from moi).
At artclass we were assigned to create a portrait of ourselves with a random object in our hands. I decided to portrait myself with one of my favorite stuffed animals infront of the board. But the main focus of the task was to get a feeling for contrasts and facial expressions.
