I loved many of the tasks we were given in art class but this one is definitely in my top 3. Our assignment was to draw a self-portrait with a random thing in our hands. While some chose cups or pens, I had the idea to just use a plushie of mine, for a comedic effect. The main focus was to master the sharp contrast, yet make the portrait as realistic as possible. It was a good practice for future studies and helped us train the realistic presentation of a human being.

The person who gave us our guides (and offered us Pikachu hats) was surprisingly non-patronising for somebody explaining something designed for children to two guys clearly older than herself. She told us to look up to see our first Pokémon of the trail. this thing is actually huge!
