12/100 words: character

You can easily judge the character of a man by how he treats those who can do nothing for him.

(thanks to www.flickr.com/photos/unaciertamirada/5038645054/in/faves... for the texture used here)

It's been some time since I've made this piece which was for inkygoodness' Beermat character exhibition which was exhibited not too long ago.

Here are some really interesting pics of the character concepts from out favourite show - Winx Club!

In my opinion Rainbow should finally stop Winx Club and stop to make more shitty seasons and movies.... I REALLY WOULD DIE for a Winx "Movie" where Rainbow shows the full development of Winx Club. From the very first ideas, character concepts and more deleted scenes and informations about Magic Bloom [1999].

If you don't know Magic Bloom here is a little Video:

And some deleted scenes from Season 1(You can see a few of them in the 4Kids Opening of the first Season):

All Credits to Rainbow.

I know absolutely nothing about who these Anime characters are and next to nothing about Anime itself so, I can't tell you who this young lady was portraying.

Photograph taken by Jessie Willcox Smith as a study for a World War I poster. Photograph depicts a sailor sitting on a porch pointing into the distance. Smith, a noted children's book illustrator, frequently used photographs to inform her illustrations. In 1918, Smith created a poster for the Red Cross Christmas Roll Call that was widely circulated.

Roßauer barracks (originally Crown Prince-Rudolph barracks, 9, Schlick square 6, Maria-Theresien street 21-23, Türken street 22-22a, Roßauer Lände 1), an extensive brickwork building of fortified character (built area 17,940 square meters on a plot of 43,293 Square meters, length 270 meters, width 140 meters, on the outside about 1,300 windows) in the Windsor style (obsolete follower of the romantic Historicism), built as a "defensive barracks" 1865-1869 according to plans of the colonel of the genie staff Karl Pilhal and the major Karl Markl and 17 August 1870 handed over to the use.

The barracks, which formed part of the barracks concept designed after the defeated revolution of 1848 (between the inner city and the suburbs, a belt of [unrealized] military bases was to be built in order to suffocate in the future revolutionary movements of the population; as counterpart was already built 1852-1857, the Franz Joseph barracks on the Stubenring), has in the middle of each front two battlements (eight-storey) towers on the narrow sides of which semicircular stems for artillery stands are located as well as slightly protruding corner risalites (with Norman crenellations). The battlements of the towers, framed by small turrets, spring forward and are supported by a Baroque round-arched frieze, under the window sill of the first floor, a Romanesque zig-zag frieze runs around the entire building, which has a continuous attic with parapet. In the southern wing was the chapel "To the Holy Elisabeth" (consecrated on August 16, 1876). The "specialty" still rumored by Richard Groner, that they had forgotten about the toilets during the construction of the barracks, is wrong: the team toilets, however, were exclusively (grouped around central downpipes) in two towers in the corners of the two outer courtyards. In front of the barracks was the Tandelmarkt (market).

In the First Republic, the Roßauer barracks housed a homeless shelter and the Deutschmeistermuseum (German master museum) in 1927, in 1936, the stables were converted into garages.

After the Second World War, the heavily damaged northern tract (formerly Infantry Officer's Wing) had to be restored, in 1959 (after various other conversions had been made) the entire Nordhof (norther court) was roofed over. Departments of the Federal Ministry of the Interior and the Federal Police Directorate Vienna moved into the Roßauer barracks (including the vehicle registration office). As the state of construction worsened, a demolition was considered in 1977, but due to considerations of monument preservation it was finally decided for monument preservation for conservation of the building. As a result, reconstruction and utilization considerations were initiated (for example, the establishment of a third opera house or conversion to a university center was under discussion); after the tender of a competition, the results of which were presented in January 1989, the decision was made in favor of a mixed use (University-Commerce-Housing), at the end of 1989 the departure of the police stations began, in 1990 the restoration of the facades at Schlick square).

Better view of my character from our wall @ The AP/NUE Monsters and Myths jam.

Made a nice change to have such a cool jam just 20 miles up the road from my home town of Birmingham @ Tamworth HOF, Staffs.

Shouts to everyone who came.

I don’t know if anyone notices, but the tagline of my blog is “All the world’s the stage. And this is my costume.” I approach dressing the same way I do acting: it’s fun to be another person for a while. I like trying on a persona for a day.

Shirt, FY2 (thrifted). Sweater tunic, Urban Behavior (swap). Jeggings, Mossimo. Bag, H&M. Boots, Vince Camuto. Earrings, Urban Outfitters. Sunglasses, Xhilaration.

So, who was I today? I was simply Kasmira, the actress. We attended TDW’s annual holiday brunch in our new building, the former Glenmore Bowl! The best/most embarrassing part of the event was when my blog was recognized for improving the Google results for “the drama workshop.” I guess I didn’t stay in character when I blushed and ducked my head. I think the actress would have stood up and taken a bow.
