Unfortunately this restaurant was closed during our visit in February. I am curious about the interior and their burgers.
Plopsaland De Panne
Plopsaland De Panne is a theme park located in Adinkerke, Belgium - part of the municipality De Panne - owned and operated by Plopsa. The park reopened on the 20th of April 2000, before that the park was known as Meli Park from 1935 until 1999.
The family Florizoone sold the park in 1999 to Studio 100 and VMMa. The park received a make-over during the following winterseason, to reopen as Plopsaland on the 20th of April 2000. During the renovation several characters from Studio 100 were used - such as Samson en Gert and Kabouter Plop - to theme new and old attractions. The new park had some issues at the reopening with parking capacity and catering, these issues were fixed in the following years.
Studio 100 / Plopsa bought out the shares of VVMa in 2005 and became sole owner of the park, with plans to turn it into a multi-day, all-weather resort. In that same year Plopsa opened Plopsa Indoor Hasselt and bought Telecoo, to avoid confusion with the other parks Plopsaland was renamed to Plopsaland De Panne.
Besides expanding the site into a resort, Plopsa also kept expanding the theme park with Anubis the Ride (2009), Vic the Vicking-land (2013), Heidi the Ride (2017) and The Ride to Happiness (2021) in order to appeal to a wider demographic and become a destination not just for families with younger children.

Well... she wasn't supposed to look so young, she will appear "older" depending on your enb and lighting conditions. I am so bad at creating mature characters :(
Since I haven't been able to give her a custom voice despite all the times I tried, I have decided to give her her own little home where she can be found!
Meet Calpernia, she may not be cute, beautiful and attractive, but the scars all over her body tell the story of her sad past.
I was tired to create too perfect characters and see everywhere female characters that look like plastic dolls... not everyone is perfect! Calpernia is not, luckily :P Tired of Barbies!

this was a very quick edit, but i have been spending some time updating all my avatars for my roleplay characters. lelutka 3.1 made most of my shapes unusable and so it was back to shaping! the finished products made the task so worth it ♥

I have been enamored lately with the concept of STORY: How we can become characters that move our lives forward, and how we can tell the stories of our imaginations in ways that only we see them. This is why I love self portraits - it allows me to be the person I dream of. A storybook character becomes as real as anything else in my life when I can create an image out of it. Such is the magic of art.

Just wandered through the national park without any plans and preparation in an attempt to photograph the forest for the first time. Quite happy with my first result.

I've been thinking about this lately..and watching. How people are treated, how I treat people and why. Ya just never know what motivation people have or what hidden agendas at times.
And I've had this version of November Rain stuck in my head for about three days. I may need a lobotomy.
These poor characters were dancing their hearts out to some lame song to an audience of about three on a stage hidden way off the beaten path on Seuss Landing.

Someone has put a fair bit of effort to create and maintain an old town feel to this property in Ohio.
Years of collecting anime-ish minifigure parts is finally starting to bear fruit! There have been many failed attempts since 2014, when I got into anime, but I never stopped dreaming about having LEGO anime characters. :)

From the very, very, very great phototour two yesterday. I'm so glad I noticed this dried up, dead rose after I took a couple photos of fresh, bright and shining roses. I think I love this one the most.

Weirdly, when I looked closer on the rose on the second photo when editing, I thought it looked like some sort of chinese dragon.
Last night was a productive one, I suddenly felt the urge to arrange my furniture .. (at 3 a.m.) So I did it. My tomcat (simultaneously) felt the urge to just freak out, he ran around in the apartment like he was on fire, good thing we were both able to handle this act quietly. Still awake at half past four, cooking some hot chocolate, eating microwave popcorn and editing photos.
Too bad that I wished my friend lots of pretty snow, of course now it's snowing again ..
