Changing light and conditions for the Snowdrop photos. I took the photos just as the sun was getting to the edge of the clouds to cut down on the harsh shadows, also added a bit of fill flash to get a better F stop and depth of field.
Greenpeace Russia has organized acorn harvest in Dubki park in Moscow for
reforestation after summer 2010 forest fires. Hundreds people have picked up
about 3000 kg of acorn during this day. Greenpeace salutes the thousands of
individuals and communities who are celebrating practical solutions in
fighting the climate crisis and making the Energy Revolution a reality as
part of the October 10 Global Day of Action.

Got this for 20 bucks at an antique store. I dont think it works. My Remote STILL hasn't come. But my book has.. what's with that? I'm expecting two things in the mail which is alot more than usual. One, the remote, and some prints from a Flickr friend.
I'm not sure if this was part of the demonstration or a Speakers' Corner regular who happened to be there as the Gaza protest was assembling in Hyde Park.

Although you can't see them in this photo, a lot of high thin clouds were working their way in from the SW and were eating away at the light. Eventually it got so bad that I decided to call it quits and headed for my car. Halfway there it things brightened considerably, and a w/b green appeared on M1, so I changed my mind and headed down the platform to set up a dark side capture.
