At age 2, all of my boys look identical. You could not pick them apart. I look at them now I see all the changes. Not just physically, but in personality too. They are each so unique.
I painted this in 2007 for a contest. The theme was "I can change the world by..." I believe that I can change the world by reminding others that when we build our homes, we often destroy the homes of others. Thus, I painted this field with a house with a building being constructed. Soon, the little bird won't have those pretty stalks to clasp to.

Increased use of environment degradation technology and chemicals, earth temperature is increasing day by day results the increased level of sea surface. This caused salt water inundation of agricultural land and residence. Increased temperature is also increasing the rate of devastating flood, cyclone, drought and other natural calamities. Ours’ together effort can save this earth from the destruction of climate change

No one ever seems to want to take the small change and it ends up piling up in the house.
Change is a constant process that affects us as a society and as an individual. It can cut across different fields and disciplines, impacting human lives in multiple areas. Sri Lanka has seen an increased development in infrastructure, connecting diverse people from across the island. Simultaneously, there is a boom in different industries with startups and small industries mushrooming across the country. Therefore, it is now more important than ever to engage with this phenomena of change in everyday life.

This picture is part of the Photography for Change Project in Exeter, which was 10-week participatory photography programme that enabled participants to create their own photo-story or photographic theme and build a portfolio of images that reflect the positive aspects of their lives.
This project used photography as a means of engagement and empowerment and was managed by Meridian Raw CIC and part funded by the Big Lottery Fund

Enough of the trip, here is something that I shot at a place that raises these guys. It is a composite of 2 exposures.

Taken about 10 days ago, when I was cleaning and doing such a work, to be ready for All Saints Day, and actually for a day after also, as on 2nd of November we have the second event (but not a holiday), it's called "Zaduszki", and I could translate it like a "All Souls Day".
And this year - I was looking much more at the trees and the sky - it was fabulous show of colours and wonderful weather ... and thinking about past and future :-)

Change!! Change of season and Change in the way America thinks!!! I am so proud to call the country mine!! Even living in Washington area I have never seen the reaction I have tonight. News here was showing people celebrating in the streets and on CNN you saw people at Times Square just like it was New Years.
What a Great day for America!!!!
