A Changing Landscape

I painted this in 2007 for a contest. The theme was "I can change the world by..." I believe that I can change the world by reminding others that when we build our homes, we often destroy the homes of others. Thus, I painted this field with a house with a building being constructed. Soon, the little bird won't have those pretty stalks to clasp to.
