I have never seen this happen. It's really sorta life changing to see a big truck dump molten metal down the side of a hill.

The name of our event was "More recycling, lower emissions of CO2". We maked
a big 350 using bottles of glass. But first, we got to find the bottles. The
Community of "La Concepción" was the people that help us to recycle all the
bottles of glass from them houses. I go to send you pictures of each stages
of this beautiful project. Is important to say that the bottles recycled
will be sold to the recycling factory and the money we will give to the
community and with this way, teach to the people the important part of
recycle.

Since the end of August, this squirrel had been growing his ear-tufts, and was moulting into his more uniform winter coat of chocolate brown. In the summer, his tail had been chocolate brown, but his head and body the more orange tone seen, here, on his legs.

At the Bush Factory after a joyous celebration for John Lennon*s 70th

This is from inside the Jefferson Memorial in Washington, DC. I like this because it uses the "original intent" of a Founding Father to refute the idea that we should live in a nation with laws based on the Founding Fathers' "original intent." (I, too, can be a hypocrite I suppose...except that I cite Jefferson as my prerogative, not because I believe I'm compelled to do so.) I also like this because it suggests that changes to the Constitution should be borne from enlightenment, progress, new truths -- and not from the base, animal fear and single-minded insularity and intolerance that seems to drive most proposals I hear floated about for amending the Constitution.
With some serious cloud looming, it was time to pack up and leave the summit of Les Trois Mamelles mountain.
embracing the madness....there's a change for me! I took this after a blow out with my son (age 10), I mean I let him have it. Let it rip. After the initial guilt and shame that tried to take hold of me, I sat with my son and realized it actually felt better to remain unapolegetic and own and share some of the madness, the rage, that shadow that is also me.
Hackmanite is a variety of sodalite. Note the small area of pink coloration at the bottom center of the specimen - before exposed it to shortwave ultraviolet light, this material was white, just like the rest of the specimen. The ultraviolet light causes a reaction that manifests as a noticeable change in color, which will fade over time but will return if the piece is exposed again. the best thing about a picture is that it never changes.

I've always been used to the classic B&O CPL bracket signal standing tall in the woods behind this abandoned, crumbling Erie Railroad water tower. It'll take a while to get used to seeing a modern-day Safetran style signal cantilever in the background. This new signal protects westbounds entering the interlocking at Lambert in Barberton, Ohio.
