RML 2418 is JJD 418D, an ex London Transport Routemaster. The bus, still in very good external condition, is now a snack bar, it is parked near Albert Dock in Liverpool. The gull perched upon the roof is probably watching the tables in the hope of snatching a chip or three.

I have a tiltshift effect in the camera, it works ok in some images. I like the effect it creates in highlighting the leaves in the road, etc. But the blur transition to non-blurred areas is quite stark.
This is number 6 in the Across The Ocean collab project with Janey. We took a photo each from our adventures (mine is the plane window and hers is the railroad tracks) and layered them and then wrote about change.

For so long I just stood still. I wanted to be unseen, I just wanted to survive. I stood on the edge of the smallest step and it seemed like such a long way down. I'd been hurt and I was alone and I was afraid. I did what I'd always done and I got what I'd always gotten. Until one day I decided to try something different. To change something. To try something new. And then slowly, day by day and week by week I started to face my fears. I grew and I learnt and I started to heal. It wasnt easy and sometimes it got harder or I lost my way, so I let myself cry but I never gave up. I never gave in. The steps started getting bigger. The lessons started getting harder, and the rewards grew too. I started to embrace change. I learnt that even when I am alone I am still with myself. I can be a light in the darkness. And everytime that familiar feeling wells up in my gut - of feeling stuck and lost and not knowing where to go (I call this my 'crossroads feeling') I know that change is coming. I know that there's a cliff up ahead that will be bigger and scarier than I have ever faced and I know that I will face it. I will have to jump. But the great thing is that I dont fear it anymore. I am not afraid of it because I know that if I fall I will pick myself up again. I can get through the darkness. And if there is even a chance that I might fly then I have to take it. That's what life is all about. For so long I wished that there was something tangible I could hold on to to signify the changes I have made within. The growth I have experienced from the places I have seen and the adventures I have been on. But you told me that you could see it in my face, you could sense it in my aura. The changes I felt within. And that brought more joy to me than you will ever know.
The only thing constant in life is change. How many times have you heard that quoted? But how many of us know that this include our sense of self? Often times, we identify with our views, our ideas, our root in the pass and who we think we are that often becomes what makes us ~ our sense of self. But change still managed to take us by surprise often unsettling us for quite a while especially when it involve who we are, a lot of times this unwillingness to accept that our sense of self is always evolving and changing Many people celebrate stability and things being always be the same.
What amazes me, looking back on my life, is that change almost always seems to reveal itself as becoming something even better than before. That is when i go with it, not against it, when i appreciate that its trying to lead me forward ~ to feel much more free and grow closer to a better self. It's good to be changing (never to be fix) and be more open to change ~ to evolve and grow. It is important to recognize, accept and celebrate change, i allow myself a chance to change my views, believes and not to be so perfect, this way i can listen to something that makes me grow further and closer to something which is good.
Melocotón is pondering on my motto: "You can always bend the views and believe to fit the new facts in life". Accepting change in it's awkward uncertainty and appreciating it as is while it gently unfold into whats next.

Not quite The Titancic`s location that would be difficult for me to do, anyway it would just be a lot of water.......But here outside the White Star Line offices at Oceanic House behind Trafalgar Square now Texas Embassy Cantina a restaurant serving Tex-Mex food.......Newspaper boy Ned Parfett sells copies of the Evening News telling of the Titanic maritime disaster which sank on April 15th 1912 more than 1,500 people were killed...Ned Parfett the Boy in the picture,his death just as tragic,as that of Titanic.....Six and a half years after this poignant photograph was taken, Ned was killed during a German bombardment while serving with the British army in France, just days before the Armistice. He was 22....Ned died on 29 October 1918, less than two weeks before the end of the war. Ned was killed near Valenciennes, when a shell landed on the quartermaster's stores, just as he was collecting some clothes before going on leave....He is buried in the British war cemetery at Verchain-Maugré in France.........Stop press,,,Texas Embassy Cantina has now closed down..

This is a pretty cool Eagle image showing the wings and tail feathers shift as this bird is changing flight paths. I love how the bird contrasts against the trees on the Illinois side of the Mississippi River.

In the days after the NS takeover, things along Conrail started changing. Motive power was patched and the physical plant started to be "improved". One such example is this TV train rolling west on the Middle Division near Newport in 2000.
The legendary Pennsylvania Railroad's signal bridge has had its position light signals bagged and replaced by line-side General Railway Signal Type "G" design signals.
Hoping the sunrise would light up the underside of this shelf as it drifted in but it didnt happen so I had to work on it a bit. Bringing cold air with it I thought it might look better if I made it look that way, chilly, ominous and carrying change.

There are two reasons why a person faces the sea.
One, to enjoy a slice of shine in the sea like children bubbling over in the beach.
The other, to brush the dust of memory like an old man who misses old days, staring at the shine
quietly.
Those lead to only one meaning though they do not seem to overlap. It’s a rebirth.
I face myself to change tomorrow, a vague day into something certain.
That is the meaning of a rebirth.
I had a very sweet girlfriend when I was 18.
After she left, I knew the meaning of gentleness for the first time and also a true pain of loss. After
she left, how many times did I depend too much on her, doubt her, envy her and keep on telling lies
until I realized it is love?
I wonder whether a nobody like me could have given something to her who was struggling in the
daily life in those days. Giving something is arrogant conceit. It is nothing but self-satisfaction.
I had been thinking about such a thing.
However, I guess what she saw in me was because I had nothing. That‘s why she tried to see
something in me. Perhaps she found a slight possibility in me, a guy filled with ambiguous, unstable
tomorrow. But I wasted days depending too much on her gentleness.
Now I finally can convey how I felt in those days when we met.

Both are shot in AV mode with a speed of 1/125, ISO 200 but I changed my fstop. On the left is f4 and on the right is f9. The differences are slight but in the f9 on the right, the petals are more detailed etc. f4 gives the more softer look than f9.

It's taken 6 different design changes, 3 different faces, and two different gowns, to make this gem!:) she actually was supposed to come before belle and Elsa. I bought the doll when I bought the maleficent doll, that I customized, and gave to the Vice President of the Disney store. But then belle and Elsa stalled my aurora doll.lol but she is now officially done! She hasn't been easy at all, she actually was a lot of work. As they all are, but she was exceptionally hard for some reason.lol so I cried when I put her crown on her head, which was the last thing I finished. I made everything on her. Even jewelry. And I also painted her face, gave her eyelashes, did her hair, and made her stand. She has over 100 light blue jewels on her, and over 100 dark blue jewels on her. Her gown is lined with a turquoise blue satin. And it's made up of grey and light blue tapestry, turquoise chiffon, turquoise satin, and light blue organza. It was sewn and embroidered by gold thread. Her gown is also jeweled with real glass beads, and glass crystals. Her gold chain is an antique design, with gold and red glass beads. Her slip is made of cotton lace, and ivory chiffon. Her stand is wood, painted by me, and lined on the bottom with black leather. Her earrings are made of glass beads and glass jewels too!:) her crown is metal and clay, painted with real gold paint, and jeweled with red glass crystals. Her finger nails are painted blood red, same color as her lips. This doll is one of the most extravagant I've made. And hopefully you love her, as much as I do!:)
