Wow! I am surprised at the response! For those curious, the image was made up of shots I took in June of 2006. So the elements that make this up are sort of like my own stock photos. Zun "modeled" :-) for me last year and this shot of him was taken on my kitchen counter. (hope you don't mind me telling)
The sky is real. It's was an attempt to get a sharp shot of the full moon that failed bad.. but I kept several versions of this with the blurred moon. In Photoshop I flipped this horizontal and merged both halves on one layer. I did manage to get a clear shot of the moon during that same weekend. That is the moon you see here.. I made a selection of the moon and pasted it on to it's own layer and put it on top of the blurred moon in the original photo. I then took Zun's image and masked out the wall and counter. The picture of the orchid was taken on my bathroom vanity. I got a lot of use out of that single flower. It was the last one left on the plant. It fell off when I bumped the plant.
I masked out the flower and put it on it's own layer and then created many more layers with it. I rotated some, changed the color balance and sharpness on others and did a lot of resizing and masking to achieve the color and lighting effects.
I softened up Zun's picture using multiple methods and used color samples of his skin to paint and emphasize his eyes and lips and facial structure. Lastly I created the abstract swirl near his head by using lens flare and then distorting it with wave and ripple filters. Believe me! This an overview. I did a more things than I can recall here.
Still I can see spots that need more work. :-) It took about six hours over the course of the week and many versions to get this.
Zun... Thanks for the inspiration!
Tori is trying out a new look today as her new eye chips from LullabyForDolls finally came in the mail! Instead of gluing them in right away, I just placed them gently inside as Tori's eye chips may change again sometime in the future. (Thanks to fellow Flickr friend for the great tip!) ^-^

These were the Foot Guards of the Irish Guards, since they have the BLUE plumes on the side of bearskin ( this is how you tell them apart, also by looking at buttons ...but this is by far the easiest way )
This was taken in Cyberdog in Camden and for those of you that have been know this is a wall behind the till...

Well, I love the print of this dress, but i didn't had material enough to make the skirt part puffy and I also don't like one-pieces because you can't really mix and match with them. (I also did a crop top with the top part of the dress).

Changes in lattitudes, changes in attitudes. I really enjoy stumbling onto new places to explore and photograph. Spring could not come early enough this year.

Sea ice is an important habitat for, among other, polar bears and seals. For the local Inuit seal hunting (mainly on abundant ring seals) is an important part of life. In Pond Inlet (Inuktitut: Mittimatalik), access to sea ice plays also an important role for wildlife-viewing tourism. The economy of Pond Inlet is largely service based with government as the largest employer. Small businesses that serve the community, tourism, and art work are also found. As a tourist destination, Pond Inlet is considered one of Canada's "jewels of the North". It is one of the most picturesque communities with mountain ranges visible from all directions. Icebergs are most often accessible from the community within walking distance or a short snowmobile ride in winter. Pond Inlet boasts a nearby floe edge, several dozen glaciers, explorable ice caves, and many grand and picturesque inlets. Barren-ground Caribou, Ringed Seal, Narwhals and Polar Bears are just some of the wildlife that can be encountered while traveling out on the land. Nunavut also boasts one of Canada's newest national parks named after the glaciers that can be seen north of the community on Bylot Island; Sirmilik National Park.

WC T046 rolls into Milwaukee and prepares to hit the Cut Off with their inbound tow of goods. The 35th Street viaduct frames the last days of existence for the Milwaukee Road Shops - most of the original 1880's buildings are already leveled and only a few remain. County Stadium's days are numbered as Miller Park nears completion. In a year, WC will disappear as a corporate entity. The access road to the Shops complex will be removed in a few years replaced by a modern "blah" concrete bridge.
The only thing constant in life is change......
`Who are you?' said the Caterpillar.
This was not an encouraging opening for a conversation.
Alice replied, rather shyly, `I--I hardly know, Sir, just at present--at least I know who I was when I got up this morning, but I think I must have been changed several times since then.'

British Airways is currently in the process of updating their schedule for the next S18 schedule as the current scheduling period is due to come to a close...
At present, British Airways is rescaling its South American flights, notably to Brazil which is recovering from a major economic downturn where demand for flights were downsized... British Airways at present only serves 2 destinations in Brazil.
Let's begin with Brazil's financial centre, São Paulo... The service continues to operate daily but the service has seen considerable capacity adjustment since the W16 schedule. BA246/247 which saw frequent appearances of Super Hi-J Boeing 747-400's later saw Mid-J Boeing 747-400's and later Boeing 777-200ER's.
From 29th October 2017, Boeing 777-300ER's will take-over operation of BA246/247 and will continue through the S18 schedule period where Boeing 777-200ER's were previously diagrammed. So far, São Paulo is now getting its capacity back...
The next one is Rio de Janeiro, a destination that has suffered considerable frequency reduction and capacity cuts. With the Rio 2016 Olympics now over, demand has dropped although the frequency is slowly returning back to daily.
Initial plans for BA248/249 for the W17 schedule were that the flight increases to 6 times a week operation, and Boeing 777-200ER's were supposed to be replaced by Boeing 787-9's, but now by Boeing 787-8's from 29th October 2017. From 10th May 2018 for the S18 schedule will see BA248/249 returning back to daily operation, still utilising Boeing 787-8's.
Whilst it is good to see Rio de Janeiro regaining its daily frequency, the use of Boeing 787-8's is still a considerable capacity cut from Boeing 777-300ER's which were prevalent before the S16 schedule ended.
Currently, British Airways operates 58 Boeing 777's, which includes 3 Boeing 777-200's, 43 Boeing 777-200ER's and 12 Boeing 777-300ER's.
Yankee Mike Mike Lima is one of 43 Boeing 777-200ER's in service with British Airways, delivered new to the flag-carrier in April 2001 and she is powered by 2 Rolls-Royce Trent 895 engines. Since February 2015 following a repaint into Crest livery, she gained Masha Ma designed GREAT Festival of Creativity special colours featuring artwork inspiration from Eastern Asia incorporating Bamboo and Western Europe of the Rose.

As the ship started to pull away from Curacao and the libations started to flow there was a definite "climate change" that took place. Everybody started to loosen up and let go of their worries, exactly what you're supposed to do when you go on a cruise. Niccy and I were hopeful that this attitude would remain for the rest of the trip, I guess we had a Wait and See sort of mindset.
Niccy and I just got back from a 2 week cruise down in the Caribbean, a trip that was supposed to be in the UK but thanks to the whole covid fiasco that was not meant to be. We were on the P&O Britannia and as we quickly found out we were the only Americans aboard! We had a good time, got to see some new ports and enjoyed the weather.
