I appreciate every comment on my photos, but please do not add invites with gaudy images bigger than thumbnail-size or any animated gifs - thank you!
When you live in Harambe Village in Disney's Animal Kingdom, there's no need to notify the post office when you move. Just paint the information on the wall next to your old residence so the people who need to find you can.
HDR shot taken of the building development next to the Lloyds building. I was amazed that the plane was captured from the three images. Photomatrix is able to handle moving objects quite well.
"Be the change you want to see in the world" Mahatma Gandi
It feels like it's forever
No reason for emptiness
The time just runs away
No more day by day
You dream again
It seems in vain
When seasons change
Okay. I'm obsessed with portraits now.
I'm sorry for so many of these, but I'm in love with them! And with the 24 hour Picnik Premium thing that went on, I HAD to take portraits in order to change the eye colours and face stuff. But I want Picnik Premium now. Anyone want to buy me it ? :DDD
So about the speech thing...
I got 4th place :)

Bikers from Northern Power Systems, Green Mountain Power and NRG Systems rode over 50 miles today to show support for Vermont's Moving Planet campaign. These bikers met at Northern Power 100 kW distributed wind turbines in Burlington (Heritage Aviation), South Burlington (Dynapower Corporation), Bolton (Bolton Valley Resort) and Barre (Rock of Ages) with one goal in mine - cycle to the State House in Montpelier to show support for wind energy as a solution to our climate crisis.
Attached is a photo of our bikers headed to the State House in Montpelier, Vermont.

One of a series of photos to record the boarding up of South Parade Pier :-(
Some of you (and you know who you are!) are especially gifted at capturing decay and the derelict, so do get down there with your cameras. Just be a little cautious of the security guards. I was stopped and questioned a couple of months ago about why I was taking photos...
Sunset
The colors are shimmering
For a moment they stay
Only to disappear into change
Change just as beautiful as the last
For no matter where you go
One thing remains the same,
A difference sunset
Which will always be your own sunset

Three stages of the water cycle can be demonstrated by heating the water using a Bunsen burner flame: condensation. evaporation and melting.
1. The water in the beaker evaporates (energy from the flame absorbed by the water). This is a change in state from liquid to gas.
2. The water vapour (gaseous water) formed during evaporation cools on contact with the underside of the cool clock glass. This is condensation which is a change in state from gas to liquid.
3. The ice in the clock glass melts as it gains energy from warmer water vapour. The change in state is from solid to liquid.
Evaporation, condensation and melting are three stages of the water cycle. Freezing is missing in this demonstration. A change in state from liquid to solid.

My roses were yellow but now there’s another plant with red roses. How can I dig out that red flowered plant? I have red rose bushes that are spindly and the leaves drop off. How can I make them healthy? (Photos illustrating a study guide for gardener friends. Comments blocked for this reason.)
The changing pier at Webster Park. The ice buildup has shortened the cove and begun to take shape. Should be interesting to see what it turns into! 20160123-DSC_4882
