Climate activists gathered in front of the ExxonMobil international headquarters to give them our red line message.
Malabry, Paris tramline 10. The same tram with at left the doors open and at right the doors closed. The lights above the doors change colours when opening / closing the doors. The same happens inside the trams at the ceiling.
The reserve engine is finally changed out. Since it's our own dedicated reserve rig, it will be parked behind our front line after we clean it.

Lặng buồn. Vì còn đâu tình yêu hơi ấm bên người ?
Rồi đau thật đau khi nhớ về nơi ấy.
Sao vẫn chỉ là khói mây ??
The scene at Skipton has totally changed since I took this shot in 1988. The semaphore gantry has gone to be replaced by overhead wiring, the mill chimney has gone, the signal box has gone, sidings for EMUs have appeared on the far side of the line and a palisade fence has been erected preventing this view from even being had. 47422 heads for Carlisle with 1M43 10:45 Leeds to Carlisle on the 16th July 1988.
I remember coming to this same spot a few years back but it sure did not look like this. Although tourism is good for the locals I find it's an eye sore and just to many boats on the water!!

A definite change in body shape. The post Christmas tummy is sticking around.
Partly due to limited gym visits and no major attempt at January diet.
I'm content though - and that is the ultimate goal, is it not?
Change II

Steam locomotive wheel castings are heavy and expensive and generally unique to that class of locomotive, so instead of changing out an entire axle, like modern diesels-electric locomotives. Steam locomotives have tires, or steel loading surfaces which contact the rail. These wear out over time and are replaceable without having to scrap the entire wheel. The process for replacing these tires is called sweating, which takes advantage of the expansion of metal as it is heated. Shown above is the heating element connected to heat the tire for its removal off the wheel center.

i only have about 5 minutes to type this, so i'll come back and add more later--maybe.
my second graders are doing an incredible job on these lil "heidelberg houses". i used ideas by jenn (thanks!!) in atlanta to use up a ton of popsicle sticks.
i decided to focus on The Heidelberg Project as an inspiration--and especially the idea of "change".
The kids really got into it and I am sooooo happy w/ the results. the classroom teachers are on board and doing writing/reading about Heidelberg, AND......we are hoping to win a field trip from Target so we can go in the spring. Yay!
i'll post more of the houses later. now off to prep for 1st grade.

"Change, like sunshine, can be a friend or a foe, a blessing or a curse, a dawn or a dusk."
by William Arthur Ward
There I was in an M&S changing room looking at this dress from all possible angles trying to decide whether to buy it or not. I decided to take this (poor quality) picture so that I could decide at a later date. I do hate these should I shouldn't I moments.
The Fourth in a conceptual series of pictures for a shoot inspired by change.

Unfortunately the sunlight had disappeared which made such a difference.

This was while my aunt was changing his diaper, probably the few times when he's not running around....he was looking at me curiously
