Looks like it could have been a DX or Sinclair
Sinclair designed this building style in the 1930s I think. In 1969, Sinclair Oil Company was bought by Atlantic-Richfield (ARCO) who used the brand as a subsidiary brand, and began marketing Sinclair with signage that reflected the ARCO image-rectangular, blue signs with the "diamond-spark" logo and "Sinclair" replacing "ARCO." In 1976, ARCO spun off Sinclair which was bought by the Holding family and remains privately owned today. It was likely during this time, the stations were bought by The Sun Company and branded as DX.
Sunray-DX Oil Company was a Tulsa-based operation in the Midwest region, selling under the DX brand, until a merger with Sun Oil Company (Sunoco) in 1968. The merged "Sun Company" continued marketing both Sunoco (eastern and southeastern facilities) and DX (Midwest) until the 1980s, when they decided to consolidate their brand into one--Sunoco. So the DX locations were rebadged with Sunoco until the early 90s when Sunoco withdrew from marketing retail gasoline in the southeast and west of the Mississippi.
Ironically the stations in Oklahoma were largely sold to Sinclair Oil. But I'm not sure when these castle-style stations fell into disuse. It was probably before the 90s when Sinclair would have bought them back.

I did a Senior Shoot this weekend for a friend. Chandler is such a cute guy and was a lot of fun! I think this shot would make a fun poster for him.
Yesterday was a busy day. My wife and I started off with breakfast out then went out to Goodyear to the Phoenix Faerie Festival. Later in the afternoon I headed out to Chandler for their birthday party. I had participated in friendly photo contest that was helping to promote Chandler's downtown historic district and the opening of their new City Hall.
Here is the outside of the new city hall on Arizona Ave.
Originally built as workshops, Chandlers Lane was completed in 1837. It was designed by architect James Leslie, and included workshop facilities for the repair of ships, production and repair of sails and rigging, and a smithy.
Since the end of the shipbuilding trade in Dundee, the buildings have been converted into houses, and are in a desirable location between the picturesque River Tay and the historic Victoria Dock (where the historic Leda-class frigate HMS Unicorn is permanently moored as a museum). Average price for a house on this street (at the time this photo was taken) is £250,000, with the expectation that this will rise as work continues on the improvement of the Dundee Waterfront area.
You might just see at the far end of the street a photographer taking bride-and-groom shots with a happy couple - but other than that, there wasn't much going on.
This is a composite image, consisting of several photos taken in portrait orientation using my Google Pixel 4XL phone, and stitched together later using the excellent freeware utility, Hugin.

I met Chandler today, she's a beautiful high school Senior. We had great conversation and she was a blast to capture! I was able to do a mini-session with her in a natural light setting. She's my 2nd stranger. I have no issue capturing people but when it comes to walking up to someone and asking to capture them I'm a little slow...Chandler's absolutely beautiful! And that is the actual color of her eyes...

Chandler aka Matthew Perry is the darling of the show. No offence. His legendary wit adds humour to the situation. He was just 15 when Matthew Perry moved from Canada to America to chase his acting dreams.
