I took these photos as a challenge to myself for my new Challenge Yourself group (co-leader It's a Triumph, Nigel Jones). My intention was to take the whole piece but it just did not work out well to do that. So I settled on just the chime part. The intention also was to take a straight out of the camera shot, no editing. I admit, I adjusted the levels a bit. But otherwise, not.
I purchased these chimes here: www.kitengela-glass.com/, at their shop at Adams Arcade in Nairobi, nearly 8 years ago. I lived in Kenya for almost 20 years and these are a reminder of that amazing time everytime I walk out the door.
