For the first full week in 2019 of my 52 cameras in 52 weeks project, I decided to use my dad's Lizars Challenge folding plate camera. This dates from around 1905 and is in very good condition. I will be using a roll film back as I don't have any glass plates. I expect to take most of the 8 exposures indoors using a tripod, bit I hope to try a couple outside. I've loaded it with Rollei Pan ISO 25 black and white negative film.
This is my entry, that I've made for the 32x32 challenge at Classic-castle.com. The base of the castle is on a 32x32 baseplate.
I layed a sheet of white paper over the sky area and backwash areaand proceeded to splatter with a toothbrush rich solutions of brown ochre randomly on the stony areas,followed by caput mortum, eack were allowed to dry between coats. I then done the same process but introduced indanthrene blue thioindigo violet and neutral tint.

My neighborhood bookstore has covered an entire storefront window with these printouts of banned or challenged books. I'm shocked and saddened at the books that people want to ban others from reading. I really struggled with this challenge and I don't quite know why because its one I really looked forward too and had a few ideas for. I seem to have lost my iPhone photo mojo as nothing I tried seemed to work. This is the best of a bad bunch and the only shot that made it past the finish line to flickr. I need to sort my head out and then maybe I'll revisit this again.
