Just some of the chainsaws in my collection
This was taken on a day when Andy and I went to run the saws. We took 12 saws.
You know you are in Norway when some guy with a chainsaw is the main attraction at the funfair. (I would not want him to star in the nest Chainsaw Massacre thoug, cause he was REALY good with it!)

My little brother in a big tree.
The short story is that my grandmother finally convinced my grandfater (who is approaching 80) to stop climbing trees. So, naturally, that part went to my half-gorilla brother.
You can see that he's also good with a sledge hammer. ;-)
The Log-----originally from Bamfield, Vancouver Island, BC
900 years old red cedar (12 feet 6 inches in length)
The Artist-----the carving is done in green (moist) wood, which makes it easier for the Master Carver to work.
Randy Boni uses chainsaws as his only tools. Randy makes no sketches, he attacks the log as a sculptor would a block of marble and the end result is stunning.

The lighting on the model at the back didn't quite turn out the way I wanted. However in this shot it was kind of interesting :)
I took two pictures of the chainsaw - one of the cleaned exterior and while I was cleaning all the rubbish out from under the covers one of its inerds. Today I thought I'd give myself the challenge of joining the two images together. This is what I've come up with.
