The Széchenyi Chain Bridge is a suspension bridge that spans the River Danube between Buda and Pest, the western and eastern sides of Budapest, the capital of Hungary. Designed by the English engineer William Tierney Clark, it was the first permanent bridge across the Danube in Budapest, and was opened in 1849.
It is anchored on the Pest side of the river to Széchenyi (formerly Roosevelt) Square, adjacent to the Gresham Palace and the Hungarian Academy of Sciences, and on the Buda side to Adam Clark Square, near the Zero Kilometer Stone and the lower end of the Castle Hill Funicular, leading to Buda Castle

The chain on the CB1 snapped just after I got off the freeway. It was so anticlimactic. I called AAA, the tow showed up 15 minutes later and dropped me and the bike off at the shop where Xep picked me up. Coulda ended badly but really it was just a minor inconvenience.
Chains breaking up. These I just caught! Only had about 1 minute from the time I realized what I was seeing until it was all over. These insects acually connect into chains. I nearly missed it. The images are just not very crisp but you can see what is going on.

I was a bit bored so i thought i would take a few photos.
I was going to make a light box for product photography but i didn't have all the stuff and i wouldn't mind trying to make a shadowless one shortly. Anyway last night the light went in my room and i put a new bulb in and the light cover wouldn't fit on, so tonight when i couldn't find all the stuff here for a basic lightbox i came back into my room sat down looked at the TV and there was the light cover a nice translucent white so i grabbed a little desk lamp set it all up and got these few shots.
I didn't mind them but i think i need a bit more light from behind, so to get building that light box.....
Any comments??
We saw this little guy on Bari Reef in Bonaire. I've seen a lot of eels - but this one was unique. I found it - and pointed it out to Kelly.....she saw it and was like 'Whoa!.... I dunno...' (waving underwater and shrugging) We had to go to the 'Fish Brochure' identification books to find out what we had seen......
Above water with a book - it is a Chain Moray Eel....the yellow and black coloring is impressive at depth - it stands out.
