Chain Bridge Budapest
The Széchenyi Chain Bridge is a suspension bridge that spans the River Danube between Buda and Pest, the western and eastern sides of Budapest, the capital of Hungary. Designed by the English engineer William Tierney Clark, it was the first permanent bridge across the Danube in Budapest, and was opened in 1849.
It is anchored on the Pest side of the river to Széchenyi (formerly Roosevelt) Square, adjacent to the Gresham Palace and the Hungarian Academy of Sciences, and on the Buda side to Adam Clark Square, near the Zero Kilometer Stone and the lower end of the Castle Hill Funicular, leading to Buda Castle
This gold and purple earring was made special for someone; I left the loop at the bottom empty because she's going to attach her own matching charm to the earring. :)
The chain is gold-colored copper, the earring posts are gold-colored metal, and the purple bead is glass.

This guy was moving pretty fast. He looked like he was late to get somewhere. I saw him a couple days later on Market St. He was cleaner and had a shirt.

A close-up of the chain and the 9-speed cassette on my Bulls road bike.
This Shimano Ultegra 6700 chain and cassette are still the original parts that came with the bike as bought in February 2006. Still in quite a good conditions, but it could use some additional care ;-)
The Ultegra set has never failed me and has had quite a bit of mileage already. It has helped me to get on top of quite some cols already, including Alpe d'Huez, Galibier, Stelvio & the Mont Ventoux!

A few boats chained up in Dartmouth, I didn't take as many photos as I'd have liked as I was only there for a couple of hours and the light was way too harsh, could tell that I wouldn't have been able to do the place justice.

I went down to the docks to get a few quick snaps, however the 50mm prime ( I only took that and the 90-300) and the narrow pavements meant that it was very difficult to get good shots of the wonderful buildings. Also the weather was terrible and it was jsut cloud covered.
I spotted this one day after class. The mind-spinning repetition was worth braving the icy slush to return for the capture. It's more detailed and possibly more enjoyable to adventure in a larger size.
