O princípio "Neutralidade da rede" foi apresentado por Barbara van Schewick, Diretora do Centro para Internet e Sociedade da Escola de Direito de Stanford, e Christopher Marsden, professor de Direito na Universidade de Sussex, Reino Unido, no dia 13 de outubro de 2015, no Hotel Blue Tree Premium, em São Paulo.

"Mill Hill is a historic neighborhood located within the city of Trenton in Mercer County, New Jersey, United States. It is considered to be part of Downtown Trenton and was added to the National Register of Historic Places in 1977. The name Mill Hill refers to central New Jersey's first industrial site, a mill, erected in 1679, at the southeast corner of the present Broad Street crossing of the Assunpink Creek. Mill Hill and its wooden mill were among the holdings of the first settler in the vicinity of Trenton, Mahlon Stacy, a Quaker who arrived in North America in 1678. The mill was destroyed in a flood.
Trenton is the capital city of the U.S. state of New Jersey, the county seat of Mercer County and was the capital of the United States from November 1 to December 24, 1784. The city's metropolitan area, consisting of Mercer County, is grouped with the New York Metropolitan Area by the United States Census Bureau, but it directly borders the Philadelphia metropolitan area and was from 1990 until 2000 part of the Philadelphia Combined Statistical Area. As of the 2020 U.S. census, Trenton had a population of 90,871, making it the state's 10th-largest municipality.
Trenton dates back at least to June 3, 1719, when mention was made of a constable being appointed for Trenton while the area was still part of Hunterdon County. Boundaries were recorded for Trenton Township as of March 2, 1720. A courthouse and jail were constructed in Trenton around 1720, and the Freeholders of Hunterdon County met annually in Trenton.
Trenton received its first Postmaster in 1764. On November 25, 1790, the Trenton became New Jersey's capital, and by November 13, 1792 the City of Trenton was formed within Trenton Township. Trenton Township was incorporated as one of New Jersey's initial group of 104 townships by an act of the New Jersey Legislature on February 21, 1798. On February 22, 1834, portions of Trenton Township were taken to form Ewing Township. The remaining portion of Trenton Township was absorbed by the City of Trenton on April 10, 1837. A series of annexations took place over a 50-year period, with the city absorbing South Trenton (April 14, 1851), portions of Nottingham Township (April 14, 1856), both the Borough of Chambersburg Township, and Millham Township (both on March 30, 1888), as well as Wilbur Borough (February 28, 1898). Portions of Ewing Township and Hamilton Township were annexed to Trenton on March 23, 1900." - info from Wikipedia.
The fall of 2022 I did my 3rd major cycling tour. I began my adventure in Montreal, Canada and finished in Savannah, GA. This tour took me through the oldest parts of Quebec and the 13 original US states. During this adventure I cycled 7,126 km over the course of 2.5 months and took more than 68,000 photos. As with my previous tours, a major focus was to photograph historic architecture.

Our set designer and photographic stylists were responsible for all the creative production designing all the Kitchen layouts and the interior design of the room decor.

Ann M. Costello, director of the Golisano Foundation, introduced the foundation to the interested representatives of organizations attending a background session on the Golisano Foundations $12 million commitment to the Special Olympics Healthy Athletes program. The Healthy Athletes program provides health care screening clinics to athletes with intellectual disabilities.

The floods in Pakistan have affected 14 million people, more than the Haiti earthquake and Indonesia tsunami disasters combined. There are many organizations trying to help, but their resources are stretched. This is an opportunity to help.
A while back I offered several Bromoil prints to help aid efforts in Haiti, and this time I am doing the same to help those in Pakistan. A Bromoil print is one where the silver of a traditional darkroom print is removed and replaces with lithographic ink by striking it repeatedly with a stiff ink charged brush. It is a time consuming, labor intensive process that results in a unique print, as no two Bromoil prints can be made exactly the same. The print area is 5.25 x 7.5″ (on 8 x 10″ paper) and will be titled and signed by the artist.

While the Great Recession impacted most American communities, for some it compounded decades of economic decline and decay. Today, across the country, cities that had lost population, jobs, and hope for years are turning themselves around through a series of different approaches. Building dynamic local economies does not have a one-size-fits-all solution and often requires communities to fundamentally reinvent themselves, while also harnessing their traditional strengths. By leveraging distinct sectoral and geographic advantages, creating long-term development strategies to attract both financial and human capital, and working together through cross-sector partnerships, cities are capitalizing on their potential and building a new future.
In this session, participants representing cities along a continuum of development will highlight:

CGI U will host a morning of community service developed in partnership with the Oakland Unified School District and the Oakland Public Education Fund. This year’s event will be held at the Havenscourt Campus in Oakland, California. The Havenscourt Campus houses five separate schools, ranging from preschool to high school, and serves more than 1,500 students each day. The Day of Action will begin with remarks by President Bill Clinton and Chelsea Clinton. CGI U students and volunteers will then work on a variety of neighborhood and school improvement activities, including urban agriculture, mural painting, and athletic facility cleanup.

「臺灣八景」之說，清治時期即有。在清康熙35年(1696)付刊的《臺灣府志》，以「安平晚渡、沙鯤漁火、鹿耳春潮、雞籠積雪、東澳曉日、西嶼落霞、斐亭聽濤、澄臺觀海」作為八景。至日治時期，於1927年由臺灣日日新報舉辦票選，選定「八仙山、鵝鑾鼻、太魯閣峽、淡水、壽山、阿里山、基隆旭岡、日月潭」為臺灣八景，又另立「神域臺灣神社」、「靈峰新高山」（即玉山）為別格。當時日本旅行協會臺灣支部所編的《臺灣鐵道旅行案內》(昭和10年版)，列出臺灣二別格八景十二勝，可知日治時期以別格景觀更勝於八景十二勝。
