Remembrance Day in Canada, observed on November 11, 2024, honors the courage and sacrifice of those who served in the military. Canadians pause at 11 a.m. for a moment of silence, reflecting on veterans' contributions in World Wars, peacekeeping missions, and recent conflicts. Poppies are worn in tribute to their memory.

I travelled across to Rotherham to catch 37800 taking 2 class 321 units to CF Booth, but in transit I noted it was cancelled again. Not to worry there was a Colas Longport to Redcar running late, which I missed by about 2 minutes.
Fortunately yesterday a Colas 56, 56105 was rostered to work the South Yorkshire RHTT finally breaking the 2 Colas 66s on this route. 56105 leads the 11:25 3S14 Woodburn Jn to York Thrall Europa service having run to Kirk Sandall before returning to Masborough and then back to York.
