2NP3 with two hauling two CF class locos drops down the grade at Huddlestone near Crystal Brook, SA. The two CF's were headed to the Pilbara.
37074 and 47241 are not long for this world, in this shot taken on 2nd November 2005. Both locomotives met their fate in the scrapyard of CF Booths, Rotherham during the next week or so.

The model has less features than my CF-18 due to less working space but I did manage to include fully deploying and retracting Landing gear!

The CF&E's power for CHFW backs into the east end of Blue Island Yard in Riverdale, IL. Just a matter of time until these units are dipped into G&W orange, but if you ask me I think that rare GP40X will look great in orange!

I photographed this TBM Avenger at Dawson Creek in the early 90's. At the time it was owned by Ag Air and had been used as an agricultural sprayer. It wasn't very active after this, and sat out on the prairie for a long time. Last time I saw it, in 2002, it was in terrible shape, due to a hail storm that went through the area. The fabric on all the control surfaces was almost completely ripped off, and all the glass in the canopy was shattered. Years later it went to a new owner up the Alaska Highway at Fort St John. It sat there for a few more years until it was just recently sold to the Pacific Air Museum of Honolulu at Ford Island. It arrived there in Dec 2017. It will eventually be restored as a US Navy torpedo bomber.
The Avenger started out as US Navy BuNo 91171 with a Cn of 4076. After its US Navy service it went to various owners in the US as an air tanker fighting fires. There it had the belly tank installed. Later it went to Hicks And Lawrence in Ontario before finally being sold to Ag Air in Dawson Creek. Don Lumsden, its owner at the time told me he intended to restore it as a fire bomber, but unfortunately that never happened.

This fish was included in a couple of Schleich playsets with no identification, but looks identical, except for the missing anal fin, to the reconstruction in the paper describing the holotype of Potanichthys

A very early Stinson 108 built in 1946. I have a slide shot of this that I took at St Andrews/MB in 1994. Since last year it now lives here in BC at Boundary Bay airport.
