The picture was taken from the plane window seat in Central Java ca. 9K m (ca. 30K ft) asl en-route JOG-KUL flight path. Mount Sumbing, having a height of about 3340 m asl. Located in the east side of the city of Winosobo. The only report of historical eruptions is from 1730. It has created a small phreatic crater at the summit.

Prambanan is the largest Hindu temple compound in Central Java in Indonesia, located approximately 18 km east of Yogyakarta.
The temple is a UNESCO World Heritage Site and is one of the largest Hindu temples in south-east Asia. It is characterised by its tall and pointed architecture, typical of Hindu temple architecture, and by the 47m high central building inside a large complex of individual temples.

Candi Gatotkaca is well known, since its temple body is relatively well preserved. The temple stood on a rectangular platform that served as basis for a second temple – now completely vanished.
The clay is local, and the kilns are fueled with sawdust and shavings from furniture factories in nearby Jepara.

Surroundings: In upper middle land, on the southern slope of Mount Ungaran. The temple is located on the eastern side of the canyon, 370m to the north northwest of Gedong Songo I and 110m to the south southeast of Gedong Songo III. Alt.: 1350m
