Hypothesis Tychonica.
The "Hypothesis Tychonica" here shows the sun revolving around the earth like a moon and then the planets revolving around this unlikely orbit. As astronomers were sure at least Mercury and Venus revolved around the sun these planets are shown to orbit the sun which in turn orbits the earth and with the rest of the planets orbiting this. A complex attempt to explain the solar system without taking the earth from its centre.

This room focuses on the ceiling with the Hectic Eclectic ceiling stencils. Add a Gizmo Border around the edge for some additional interest, and a Sum and Moon motif in metallic.
An original design, the Celestial Chain bracelet is composed of four sizes of rings linked to make this lovely bracelet. The two larger rings (parallel to the wrist) move within the weave and create varying patterns, a little like the symbols for the phases of the moon. 3/8-inch wide; completely sterling silver; closes with a large toggle clasp. Limited edition.

Celestial nymphs, always bare-breasted and usually dancing, representing an ideal of female beauty.
Two nights ago, I stayed out till 3 Am, doing astronomy, observing various deep sky denizens, including about an hour or so spent flat on my back with a pair of 10x70 binoculars looking for Comet Hartley 2, one of the most difficult-to-spot comets in years...
Finally located it, to my deep satisfaction, but, by that time I was beginning to "see things", including this Auroral apparition, which looked to me like some sort of giant celestial shark, glancing sideways at me ....

This is the only good shot I could get of these little Celestial Pearl Danio fry in my 30 Gallon tank. They are swimming freely with adults in the tank. Adults are paying no interest in munching on them.
Digging up more old slides and scanning them in. Lots of dust and scratches on these and plus color noise but I like the overall feel of these old slides. Not better than digital but different.
This is a large stainless steel sculpture I did around 2002. The five arms move in the wind. Even in almost still days this moves quite a bit. 24' tall.

Mi última vÃa láctea del 2018, espero les guste.
Con ésta imagen solo agradezco a Dios permitirme disfrutar de una naturaleza maravillosa, de poder vivir en medio de ella y disfrutarla tanto de dÃa como de noche. Los cielos estrellados se han convertido en mi fascinación y espero que durante el año 2019 se vengan muchos más y mejores.
