My son and his girlfriend were over and thought this was the most amazing thing. This has been growing on the kitchen table for a week or so now and he was right. I keep looking at it as I pass the table so finally I decided it needed to be part of the vegetable series that I might start someday, at least I'm finally getting around to posting it.

Compositionally Challenged week 14 is Shapes.

I planted a celery stump thing and it’s still growing! For some reason this is amusing to me.

Janice cut off the bottom of a bunch of celery and placed it in water. The whole set-up is now on our kitchen window sill.

My mum and I had a bit of fun while I played around with this bit of celery for a POTD. The image hasn't worked out particularly well but lunch was nice :-)

A bit strange? Yeah, my cat, Cookie, usually shows very little interest in any food (including treats) except for cat food in her bowl. After I was done cleaning some celery, I noticed to my surprise she was sniffing and chewing on celery leaf scraps. After googling I learned that some cats love to eat celery leaves and it has much the same effect on them as catnip. Who knew? P.S. She isn’t nearly as evil as she looks in the photo. 😂
