From The Vyne (NT) near Basingstoke. The hall and landing are particularly dramatic. The "plasterwork" ceilings are actually formed from paper mache.
Ceiling of the Anthony Theatre at 220 W. Main in Anthony, Kansas. The theatre opened on November 23, 1936 with "Love on the Run" starring Joan Crawford, Clark Gable, and Franchot Tone being the opening movie. Wichita architect S.S. Voight designed the art deco building. Along with Voight several Wichita businesses were involved in the building of the Anthony Theatre. It is currently being restored.

Palace Hotel, formerly the Refuge Assurance Building or Refuge Building after the Refuge Assurance Company insurance company which had its offices there. The hotel is currently known as The Principal Manchester.

impressive ceiling at the main mall of the SM Mall of Asia. More shops have now been opened since this pictiure was taken.
Rusted Steel Ceiling in the Bathroom.
Athol House is on Houghton Drive in Jozi. I saw a photograph of this abandoned house earlier the week on Urbex and hunted it down. It quite easy to find as it is close to the M1 highway taking the 11th Avenue off-ramp. The house has been completely gutted with only the shell remaining amongst all the stately homes in this up-market suburb. All the floorboards, doors, and fitting have been removed.
It looks as if other surrounding properties were demolished some time ago, maybe to build a cluster development or something similar. Seems as if the developer has gone bust and only the ruin of Athol House now remains
The lovely Fox Theater, Detroit, Mich
Designed for 20th Century Fox in 1928 by renowned theater architect C. Howard Crane in Oriental style.
Restored in 1988, now features the best shows of Detroit.
Die dem hl. Laurentius geweihte Kathedrale hatte ihren Ursprung im Mittelalter und wurde 1421 als Kirche geweiht. Auf den Resten dieser Vorgängerkirche wurde von 1635 - 1639 nach Plänen von Bonaventura Certo ein Bau im frühbarocken Stil von Grund auf neu errichtet. Die Kuppel mit ihren Nebenkuppeln, der Portikus und der Glockenturm wurden 1740 von Giovanni Biagio Amico hinzugefügt. Im Innenraum entstand die Chorapsis und durch eine doppelte Säulenreihe wurde der Bau in das Hauptschiff und zwei Seitenschiffe gegliedert.
Die Deckenfresken wurden nachträglich im Stil des Neoklassizismus ausgeführt.
