A Christmas present from 1992.
Was the best thing ever to me at
the time.
I kept this clipping from a
Target Catalogue.
Trying a Canon EF 200mm f/2.8L II USM. A fast telephoto lens, but it lacks image stabilization. It is as tough as I expected to shoot with a 200mm lens without IS. Every little hand movement is noticeable in the viewfinder.
Such shallow depth of field, and the aperture enabled me to shoot handheld at 1/100s in a poorly-lit room.

tacked back in place, the original builder cut this section out to place the wiring inside, added a seconded wire so each compressor could run on its own
I just received this one portable CD winner.
It's 1-bit DAC device back from ~1992. Able to power up AKG K240 on a very loud level without much distortions, that's just amazing.
Back in times when sony was a worthable of mention, they were producing a nice boxes of wires and stuff.
It may not sound flawlessly (what r u asking, srsly?), but it sounds just awesome. You'd be lucky to put your hands on one like this. I might be in double luck, I got this for less than $75, used, but in perfect audio condition.
It doesn't have antishock but will serve you well in more or less static environment, you can use it in bus, train, plane with no lags if you're not running around.
Antishock is basically a feature preserving a constant flow of shit into your ears. If you really care for sound and want to take your music with you, forget about it and get yourself one of old sony devices.

Inside the DJ Booth of Cielo. Nice compact, impressive setup and the sound system is perfect. The sound isn't muddied, the volume is at the right level. That magic area where one can have a conversation or listen to the full spectrum of the sound.
Cielo is like a cozy living room on a space station in the future. Not a big space, but they use the space very wisely to create a euphoric club atmosphere. And an ample staff of security guards.

I drew this for a school project. The assignment was an object that makes you smile. I wasn't sure what to do, so I grabbed two random objects I really like, my old teddy bear and my CD player and drew them.
This is my cute pink Hello Kitty radio/cd player!! I've had this same one since I was about 11 years old, which was back in 2001!!! ^__^
