My first photo reworked in my new environment : PC Linux F-Spot and The Gimp. It's amaing how F-Spot Gimp and Flickr are well integrated !
We girls took over a large table in this Indian restaurant after negotiating a very good deal that included free wine because two restaurants next to one another were vying for our business, which made us feel very popular indeed. Considering we were about to spend some serious money with these guys you would have thought the waiter might have been a bit happier.
Finally – the Manifest teaser photo I’ve been waiting to share! This, my friends, is the CD haul from our June 2018 South Carolina visit. (The December haul is considerably larger; we’ll be seeing that one soon enough.) Note that not all of these albums came from Manifest – only those with the orange “used” stickers did. The rest came from a second store (also coming eventually to my photostream, and while I’m not going to name it here, I have a feeling it’s quite easily determinable). Included here are albums from Hootie and the Blowfish… Oasis… Jason Mraz… American Authors… Incubus… Goo Goo Dolls… Gin Blossoms… Finger Eleven… All-American Rejects… Rob Thomas… Three Days Grace… and several compilation albums, including soundtracks to both TV shows and movies, and Now That’s What I Call Rock, which is a really amazing disc. Plus the “AM Gold TV Themes” – that one was picked out by my parents. Lots of good classic theme songs on that one.
I couldn’t possibly recommend one of these over the rest. But there are several that I would strongly suggest you listen to :P A few of my music recommendations for today come from these very CDs, as a matter of fact. And while we’re on the topic… I must encourage you to check out Rob Thomas’s latest album, released just this past Friday. Here, I’ll even link you to it, just so you’ll have that extra push. Go on. It’s great, as usual.
This really looks like so few CDs to me right now, but I have to keep reminding myself that there are twenty CDs pictured here. Seriously… wait till the December image. It’s a lot. We have a problem. XD

These places are public so these photos are too, but just as I tell where they came from, I'd appreciate if you'd say who :)
First attempt at water drops on a CD - taken on my Fuji X100s
I used a led torch in strobe mode to light this which gave it the cool dots.
