First Dodge Durango that I have seen used by US Park Rangers here in Philadelphia and they look like they are Pentastar 3.6 liter V-6 instead of the usual V-8 used in the Fords and Chevrolet
Just some random pics I took using a HX100V Filter Adapter Ring that I purchased on Ebay after seeing it on You Tube direct from the manufacturer...$43.50 and well worth it as lets me use any 58MM filter and protect my lens...beats those awkward tube extensions I have seen for mounting a filter..also no more stock Sony lens cap that never really fitted all that great..just buy a generic 58MM snap cap..adds a lot more versatility to a great camera

Grounds crew plowing out our drives and think they like to hot dog and show off as they knew I was filming them and they got stuck in neighbors drive across the street..so one tractor pushes the other to help each other out..most of these guys (about 20 in total) are from various parts of South America and do a great job..always smiling and waving..do not speak much English..always try and have some hot coffee or cocoa for them with some Baileys Irish Cream in this weather and cold sweat tea in the summer when they cut my grass...I have one of the best looking lawns in the development (1287) homes and drive is one of the first plowed...a little kindness never hurts and just a small gesture to show my appreciation for a good job done....
Was woke up early this morning by the screams of a woman..so fumbled around for my glasses and grabbed my robe and pistol and ran out the front door only to find out a neighbor had locked herself out when getting her morning paper..what a sight bra and panties only and 38 here this morning..by the time I had stopped laughing and grabbed my camera another neighbor took her in...
On the way home from the Burlington Mall last week took a couple of back roads to get home to avoid a traffic jam on I-295 due to an accident and came across a yard sale with some tools and a portable gas generator which interested me..15 minutes to late as sold it and for about $100 less than I would have offered so looked around at the rest of their stuff when I spotted a Samsung HMX-U20 camcorder..I already own one so picked it up and noticed the LCD screen was broken and asked the lady how did that happen said her son was roller blading and trying film himself at same time and fell and ruined the camera plus broke his arm and camera was only two months old..upon further inspection I noticed the battery was there and looked okay plus there still was a Sandisk 8GB extreme SDHC 30MB/s card so asked her how much and do you have the charger and such and she said no he through all that away..told her maybe I could get it to work and she said I could have it for $5.00...Bingo as battery and card equal about 65-70 bucks for 5..a bargain..through away the camera when I got home and charged the battery up and reformatted the card and shot this time lapse to make sure everything was okay.

Just some pictures I took yesterday after Hurricane Sandy as thought we were lucky and bit the bullet as still had power and have yet to get to use the portable generator I bought this past summer but time will come as still have winter to get through. Had just a bunch of leaves and couple of small dead limbs down...no missing shingles or aluminum siding as I had feared..just a loose down spout from one of the rain gutters that was easily repaired.
But as daylight broke could here the noise of chain saws and I though how rude to reawaken me after I had spent about 15 minutes out in all the mess looking for my morning Philadelphia Inquirer so after about a half hour of trying to get back to sleep my curiosity got the best of me and got dressed and ventured out one more time to see what the hell was going on...by now it was daylight and I could see just how lucky I was...as within a block each direction of my home neighbors had trees down..shingles missing and solar panels nearly ripped from their roofs..worst was four doors down from me as they had a 40' tree from neighbors yard come crashing through the fence and land in their backyard with only slight damage to roof and rain gutter...but with all that has happened in Northern New Jersey and the Jersey shore (Atlantic City & LBI) then New York and with millions without power me and our development was truly lucky...

Florence Township NJ Emergency Medical Squad #4081 filling in for Mansfield Squad 3300 as an elderly neighbor apparently had a fainting spell per her husband and fell and hit her head and had to be transported to the hospitol..we are fortunate to have our own local great squad but also the guys and gals from Florence to back us up if they are unavailable..both units do a great job and the Florence group a couple of times a year has a Hoagie sale to help raise funds and they are "good"
