Street sign with a classic lifter

Caution! I think the caution tape adds a nice touch to the nest. :-) I guess my Osprey do have a sense of humor. ;-)

During low tide the various gulls and crows had gathered on the sandbar or "Star Wars bar" as I refer to it. When all the gulls took to the air, ducks were flying and Ma and Pops Osprey sprung into action.

The Eagle was fishing near the sandbar. It caught a fish but thanks to Ma and Pops he dropped it. Pops was on the Eagle like white on rice. :-) So Ma flew back to eggs and Pops did his duty. Chasing the Eagle off.

Later a goose flew by - too close to the nest - Pops went after the goose too and.... just to make sure everyone knew he wasn't playin' he ran off another Osprey who appeared to be fishing.

Pops did the fly over top and boom. Dropped into the other Osprey sending him on his way. Later Pops got a fish... big enough for two. :-) Ate his share and did his job, brought it back to Ma.

...this area has been baited with rodenticide.

Are you on my side

How does your mind feel?

Standing in my field?

Spotted this wet floor warning sign in the shape of a banana. Very clever, brought a smile to my face 😀

" Watch Oot" Japan 2019

This sign is on the road near Grandma Patty's & Grandpa Terry's cabin outside of Clam Lake, WI. Seems like it needed to be on the internet with some funny words on it. Figured I could do that so here it is.

They had knocked down this building but the caution tape wasn't keeping us out

This is a bit strange. When I saw this sign, I thought it was an outrageously bad translation and perfect for Spangrish, as the Spanish version means, approximately, "randomness of floor".

I got curious and checked the etymology of the English word "hazard"... and it appears to derive from the Spanish word "azar". Not that that would make it a proper translation, but at least it makes it somewhat less inappropriate, and more interesting.

This was wrapped around my back door while the 2nd story deck was rebuilt.

In life we often have slip-ups. That is why family and friends are there to caution you.
