Palm Wash Slot Canyon
Anza Borrego Desert, CA
Slot canyons are narrow canyons carved into sandstone or slick rock by centuries of rain and flash flooding. A slot canyon is significantly deeper than it is wide, forcing photographers to break one of the oldest rules in the book... never shoot in the middle of the day. Believe it or not, the best light in a slot canyon is usually around the middle of the day when the sun is nearly overhead. Shafts of sunlight are able to filter down the canyon walls and to the canyon floor. This casts a brilliant glow on the walls of the slot canyons. Shoot quickly though...
Notice that by the time we set up the tripod for group shots (later in the set), the glow on the canyon walls has already begun to fade.

Trying out a new look... with Photoshop. Couldn't get this one to upload in SL D=<
What do you think? ^_^
This is at Sellicks beach, South Australia
I focus shifted few images of the posts to get them all in focus. Taken at 140mm, f/5.0, 1/2000 sec.
There were small waves rolling in at the time.
I masked all the posts out and put them on a separate layer.
In Photoshop I used the Path Blur tool.
I set the path from the top left of the posts to the bottom right of the posts.
I played around with the speed and the Exit point speed of the path blur which gave it the impression that the small waves were really coming in fast.
I then overlaid the post layer on top of the water layer and used the smudge tool around the bottom of the posts to blend them in a bit better.
(Things to do when it's too cold to go out at night)

On Spring Creek Rd just east of Prescott is this wonderful scene from bygone days. The bridge is a little chancy but there are a few solid parts. I was very lucky that the sky was interesting.

The childrens' pool at New Brighton beach was damaged in the earthquake. It was eventually repaired and reopened after 2 years. Someone pulled the plug and all the water drained away. Whilst it was empty they repainted it, but did not take up the signs before filling it up again at Xmas (Summer NZ)
Too Cute: Handle with Care :P
Kind of bad when the pic I took really quickly just to show Knox's outfit is better than the ones I took like 2 hours on XD
oh well, I didn't plan to buy this romper for Knox, I actually pictured it on someone else's doll but I found out the etsy seller had multiple of them and well you guys know what my will power is like when it comes to Knox (I ain't got none) I'm so glad I got it <3 <3 <3
Also got a wet floor sign and some caution tape ^-^
