This is for the group Macro Monday's and this week the theme is "Pick Two".
You had to pick an item off of two list. For List A: I chose "Fuzzy" and for List B: I chose "Toy".
With two 1 year old kitties I have plenty of fuzzy toys around the house. These are little fuzzy "worms" that attach to a wand. And of course I ordered them from Chewy.com. Noah and Elijah prefer to play with these off of the wand.
In Bert's defense, this wasn't HIS toy - some client left it behind when she picked up her cat from boarding. Next, he refused to even acknowledge its existence, let alone play with it - unlike Kingsley who couldn't get enough of it. (Remember Kingsley? He was the miracle hospital cat who was recently adopted. His departure post is in the comments below). Finally, this toy is NOT made from ELEPHANT DUNG although it looks like it is. It's some sort of hollow ball made from something mixed with dried catnip. Very, very strange. We finally threw it out because it wasn't that popular and it looked so disgusting.
Miss Amber was playing with toys when this happened; looked just like she was reaching out for a hug. She has a lot of endearing little ways that I love learning about.
I found this little 2 foot long cat tunnel with dangely ball, in the bargain bin at the pet store when I was stocking up on kitten food and some new toys, and thought, "WTH..for six bucks what can I loose?"
Turned out to be one of the best $6 I ever spent!
The kittens LOVE this thing!
I don't own any pets but I love to watch kittens having fun. Enjoy!
I put this video together in Canva. The audio "Upbeat Fun", clips, and text are also from Canva. **Not sure if all clips are of the same kitten. Close enough though**
Thanks for your views, comments, awards, invites, and faves.
This picture is for the group Macro Monday's and this week the theme is "Mesh".
This is a toy for the kittens. It's made out of some type of plastic. You can squish it and it springs back into a tube.
This part of the tube is about 1 1/4 inches long (the whole tube is a little over 3"). The end is under a 1/2 inch high.
I'm not sure who our tiny visitor is...maybe a sweat bee. Apparently he liked this rainbow tube... I was not able to take a picture without him being in it. :)
I'm still reading my "Canon EOS Rebel T7i for Dummies" (by Julie Adair King) and as you can see I have not gotten to the chapter that says to be sure you check your ISO setting! :) I WILL figure out how to use this camera one way or another. ;0
*Here's a link to the toy:

Cat toys for 7DOS focus. These represent "rattle" as that's the sound they make. But when Daisy plays with them they could also represent "thud", " crash", etc. Sadly I hear them quite often in the middle of the night when she makes them bounce off my bedroom door, just in case I need to get up to play with her!
Since we got the cat tower, Gravy is the only one that's really taken to it, and even that is pretty much limited to sleeping in the little box that you can see him in here.
squeaky cat toys that my SIL dearest crocheted for our kitties. The orange one particularly gets the most attention from our tuxedo imp, when employed as a distraction device!
SOOC
Later……sigh….. the more I look at this the more I realize that the orange kitty is “blown out”! I wonder what I could do to retain the lively colors but allow the crocheting stitches to show up? Methinks I am in need of a post processing program or app.
Even later- gonna try fixing it with the photo editor that exists on iPhone- wish me luck! I’ll post both with this narrative.

This is Jeremiah's toy with a tiny hand painted bead sitting in the middle.
"On Friday, I will be 3 years old. My servant (I mean, Marico - you know.) told me that this would have been a decent portrait to celebrate my birthday, but I was super busy trying to catch this silly fluffy tail... Couldn't help it!"
This picture of Perky is actually more appropriate for the "Bags and Boxes" theme for Happy Caturday but I couldn't resist adding the picture of Perky sleeping on top of a box. You can see it in the next post.
Happy Caturday: Bags and Boxes
I cleaned all of the cats' toys in preparation for our vacation (which did not happen). The mylar balls did not fare well with handwashing, so this is a brand-new mylar ball--just out of the package. (series of 8)
Happy "Looking close... on Friday!" with "knots".
... and thanks a lot for your views, faves and comments! :-)

For Pretty Pink Themed Tuesday - Pink Toys week!
More photography hazards, or rather, the same one. The only toys in my home belong to my 2 year old of the furry persuasion. Yes, F - r - a - n - k. I acquired the dinosaur (*checks out Flickr avatar* how could I not?) for Pretty Pink Tuesday, the mice however, are "all belongings to Frank". She insisted on helping (see evidence below).
Happy Pretty Pink Tuesday!

Macro Mondays theme januari 21th: Pick Two : Fuzzy - Toy
I found this little hedgehog in the cat-toy department of the pet-shop a while bag. It was looking at me and I just had to take it home. For the cat off-course :-)
Having felt guilty for leaving Noodles home alone while I went to the red carpet premiere of 'RocknRolla' earlier this week, I made amends by buying her a pack of kitty toys today...
She just didn't get the idea that I wanted to photograph them BEFORE they got covered in cat-spit and fur...

I can't decide if I like this or not; it's a very unusual macro for me. Something about it has caught my eye so I'm going to go ahead and use it as today's photo. Afterall, isn't part of a 365 project to try new things?
A rather mundane Monday with nothing too exciting to report; went out after work and bought a new shovel since the weather network is spreading an awful rumour about a ton of snow headed my way tomorrow and Wednesday. I figured it would be best to be prepared, since even if it isn't tomorrow, eventually there will be too much snow and I doubt my old shovel has another year left in it.
Hope everyone has had a good day.

I know you're saying, these must be Lindsey's, but NO, they're mine!! Yeah, Lins has a pair too, but when she bought hers, I had to have a pair too. ^..^___!!
Noah with a new "teething" toy. It's supposed to help promote dental health. After the surround system incident I'll give anything a try!!
20 weeks old.
Halfway through his "Cat Sitting" duty, Stormtrooper Bruce is pleased to report things are going as well as can be expected.
At least he still has all his fingers, and no trips to the Med Bay have been needed.
TK-432: Dude! How much longer do you have to watch that crazy cat?
TK-1110: Actually, he seems a lot calmer that the previous times you've had to watch him. Except, I'm not liking the look he's giving those pies. How far did you say he can leap?
STB: Guys, Vader said he'd be gone for two weeks, and it's only been one week. One very lo-o-o-o-ong week! Cujo hasn't changed! I'd forgotten about the 3AM zoomies, the constant "feed me" tricks he pulls by looking extra sweet, and the, um, how shall I say this...?
TK-432: The constant Poo Patrol? Yeah, you're kinda falling behind on that front.
TK-1110: About that ... eyesore - I was hoping you weren't messing with us, and that was our real dessert! We know how much you like your dessert impostor Kitty Litter Cake, but Halloween is still a few months away.
STB: Guys, Ciujo has to be treated with the utmost care, pampered and spoiled, just like Palpatine's nephew. I clean that box daily, I think he just 'makes room' so he can eat more treats.
TK-432: Now we know why Vader brought that humongous bag of litter! Cujo has Vader under his spell, too, eh? Whatcha bet Vader's 'secret mission' is to go find more cat treats! Special treats! A whole ship of nothing but the best for the P's nephew's cat.
STB: Guys, this is no laughing matter. Vader checks in with me daily, wanting to speak to Cujo, to make sure I'm taking good care of his widdie kiddy! You haven't lived until you've heard Vader talking baby talk to a cat! One more week of this ... I don't what you call this.
TK-11110: Hey, I know! Just think of it this way - these may be the Brownie Points you're looking for!
