Steve Guyton was always sneaking around trying to shoot pics of me sleeping at work. He wasn't trying to get me in trouble, he just thought it was funny, which I guess it was, especially when the flash scared the heck out of me.
Some conductors (well, Durwood Carter and Rick Warner) arriving for duty would sneak up and bang their radio down the ticket counter, to see if they could make me fall out of my chair. Ah, those were good times.
One night, everything was running late, 88, 53 and 52 were all expected well after midnight. Around 11 p.m., all tickets for 88 had been sold, everything was quiet, and I just couldn't stay awake. The baggageman said if I wanted to go back to our employee lounge and take a nap, he'd watch out for me.
I was back there with the lights out, sawing logs, when the trainmaster dropped by. He knew I was back there, but he didn't come in there, he woke me up asking where I was in a loud voice. I heard the BM tell him I had gone to the restroom. After I heard him leave, I figured I'd better get up. I kinda staggered into the ticket office and the BM said the TM had been looking for me. I said yeah, I heard. I called the DS down in JAX to get a fresh lineup on the trains. I had just finished with him when the private phone rang.
It was the TM calling from his office. He had me on the speaker phone, and all three outbound crews were in his office. He thought he was going to catch me asleep with all them listening. He says, "Michael, I want to know when all these trains are going to be here." (He didn't know I had just hung up with the dispatcher.)
I immediately rattled off all my notes about what trains were where, including freight trains in the area, who was going to be held where for who, and when they should be stopping at FLO.
After I finished, the TM says sarcasticly, "Well, I want you to know I know you've been asleep over there." I heard all the crews get real quiet, they wanted to hear what I was going to say.
I said, yes, Tom, I have been asleep, I do not deny it. And that only proves one thing, doesn't it? He says, "Yeah, what's that?" I said, "That I know more about how this railroad's running in my sleep than you do wide awake." All of a sudden all the crewmen erupted in guffaws. Then I heard a loud bang when the TM slammed the phone down. He never said any more to me about it. He wasn't a bad guy, he was just picking, he never hassled us about anything. But it was fun getting him on that one that night.
In 1990, the doctors finally figured out I have narcolepsy. The company finally asked me to retire on disability in 1996.

lots of people came to san juan today for the 3 day la union surfing break 2. there were games, competitions, surfing clinics, foods and beer of course.

This is my current high score as of 12/22/2008. How high is this score in the community of CoD4 Arcade players, honestly?

This one is so much fun. Here's how I go through this level on Veteran, in case any of you guys care.
My first suggestion: try this on the campaign mode so you can die an infinite amount of times to perfect the motions. The great benefit of the arcade mode is that you don't have to guess if you killed a bad guy.
1. When you begin, crouch immediately. Switch to the USP. Move back and left and swap the USP for the SVD. Still crouched, aim through the messed up car that was in front of you and snipe the guys in the bus and in the area immediately outside the bus.
2. Get up and run to the left towards the tank. Run along the left side of the tank, reload both weapons, and take it all the way until you reach the opening near the wall. The tank follows you up to this point. You are told to get an RPG and shoot down the incoming helicopters. Don't do it. Switch to the SVD. Get behind the tank and go prone. Get in a good position and snipe each enemy as he slides down the rope. Then keep shooting the guys as they run by. with either the SVD or the M4. Shoot the car until it catches fire, you'll get some points when it blows up if you initiate the fire.
3. When they're all dead, back up, get up, and hug the wall on the left. Move forward until you reach the doorway, stop. The tank will follow you and will stop at the corner just ahead of you. There will be four enemies from the left that you can shoot while against the wall or on the right side of the tank, you'll have to run to the other side of the tank as you are currently on the left side.
4. When the tank turns left, move to the left side of the arch. Shoot the three cars until they catch fire. Run to the bus and swap the SVD for the AK-47. You should easily have 300 rds available. Reload both weapons. Go back to the arch corner. Sprint between the back of the tank and the cars until you get to the dumpster. This is the BEST spot I've found to just relax and kill enemies from. Hop on the trash can on the right side of the dumpster. Do NOT jump onto the dumpster at this point; it's suicide.
5. Switch to the AK-47. Stand up on the trash can to shoot at the guys in the doorway in front of you and in the building to the left, both stories. Crouch if necessary. It's hard for them to hit you in this position. You don't even have to worry about grenades as far as I know. When the tank finally moves forward, jump off the can. Do the following very quickly, or it could mean death. Climb onto the dumpster and jump over the edge. Move right as fast as you can to get to some cover. Press forward and kill enemies as necessary. Clean out the doorway. Go up the stairs and shoot through the door. Move forward and shoot the guy around the corner in the next room. There's also a guy in the closet; shoot through the closet doors to kill him.
6. Move to the edge of the blown out section and shoot the car below if it hasn't already exploded.
