Bringing the catamaran to sea. A bright blue catamaran... wearing bright blue vests.
We looked cool.
CEA Project Logistics once again proved why they are the only ones to trust when it comes to Catamaran launches.
This project consisted of a huge 24 metre long, 40 Ton Dive Catamaran bound for Brisbane, Australia.
The launch was set to take place at the beautiful Ocean Marina Yacht Club however, as they are undergoing a major reconstruction project the Catamaran was launched from the beach beside the marina.
CEA has performed many successful beach launches in the past and again this project ran smoothly and efficiently throughout.

This would not be a bad place to sleep on a calm night.
We went down to the bay to look for the sunset. These are some "ancillary" shots that I enjoy, so I will post them for you to enjoy while I sort through a ton of sunset shots to decide what's worth keeping. They are "right off the card" without any processing so far. I see that there is a little sharpening showing in the exif data, but this is the default setting for Photoshop's Camera RAW converter.

We went on a seven-hour catamaran cruise up the Na'Pali coast, then out and around an island that is a bird preserve, where we anchored and went snorkeling for an hour. On the trip we saw flying fish (I thought they were birds - they REALLY FLY), dolphins (including a mother & pup), turtles, and we saw a shark on our snorkel. This was definitely an event worth the money.
