I wish everyone could see the wonders of the mountains the way I see them. When I'm high on the mountain tops I always feel like God made them just for me, but I don't mind sharing as long as you love them as much as I do.

From the Archives: Didn't intend to focus on the central orb section, but it revealed some interesting detail I'd never seen in there before.
Do I know what I want to be when I grow up? Do any of us really know? I think this is a question whose answer continuously changes throughout the years. I remember when I was a kid; I wanted to be an architect. Then at one point I wanted to be a police officer, and a fire fighter; then one day I wanted to be superman..haha. Since I’ve “grown up”, my choices of what I want to be have become a little slimmer and a lot less farfetched than when I was a child. Even still days come and go when I wonder, “What do I wanna be when I grow up?” In all honesty; I hope I never stop uttering those simple words; for it would mean that my strive for further knowledge would cease to exist.

You know when life is good, everything around you turns to gold. I love this time of year I wish it lasted longer. The Rockies are a sight to see.

It is located on a small island just north of Landegode, about 18 kilometres (11 mi) north of the town of Bodø and about 18 kilometres (11 mi) southwest of Kjerringøy.
The lighthouse was built in 1902 and automated in 1988. The lighthouse was listed as a protected site in 1999. The red, round, iron tower is 29 metres (95 ft) tall and the light can be seen for about 17.8 nautical miles.

The storm was cold and brought the firts snow of Fall. This mountain peak is over 10,000ft. The clouds would roll in and the mountains would disappear for a while. I love days like this on the mountain. Days like this are not for everyone, but it makes me feel alive. In total the snow was 8" deep when the storm was over.

I don;t think i like video up on flickr, thats not what its about for me. but who am i to stand in the way of progress. It might lead me to do things i wouldn't have done.
If someone told me that i'd do a video 365, 24 hours ago i wouldn't have believed it.
I'm feeling lazy today so couldn't be bothered to do a set up, so i thought i'd do this, very quickly, just to say i've done it. (and i don;t like it one bit.) Oh and i hate the sound of my own voice, so not sure how many i'll do. But i wanted to say hello to you all, and i think it's gonna be weird hearing people.
what do you all think of video on flickr?

Photography Week Day 3.
I seem to have acquired a collection of mini tripods over the years, and came up with this idea whilst playing around with them.
Oh and if anyone wants an opinion on which ones best. It's far and away the gorilla pod!!! it's so light that you'll always carry it with you, you can attach it to almost anything and its great fun pulling it out your bag and seeing the amusement on peoples faces when they think your holding a sex toy!!!

TPMS - Sou do Mato
do meu amado Mato Grosso do Sul,
do Pantanal onde voa o Tuiuiú,
Eu sou do mato lá do mato mesmo,
Dourados-MS, Mato Grosso do Sul!

Got a new handbag, with a few new things in it, so thought I'd do another "What's In My Bag" for 2010.

This is the Harley I rode in Mexico. My wife told me if I wanted to keep any friends I better post something of myself that didn't look so mean. It's hard to tell in this picture, but this a wild one. The Mexican cowboys were glad I was there to ride the buck out of this wild beast. This was taken on a beach in Mazatlan Mexico. I had a great time, I think the horse was wondering what is this crazy gringo was going to do next.

Eu contei mais de 100, e vocês? hehehe!
I counted more than 100, and u? :)
Last Saturday night when I went to bed we had 6'' of snow on the ground. During the night it rained, Sunday morning all the snow was gone and I mean all of it. I made a comment that with all the rain in the forecast, there was no chance of a white Christmas. This morning at 5:00am I woke up to this, 20" of fresh snow. It is heavy with the water content at about 25%. All the school in our district were closed and a lot of guys couldn't get dug and get to work. We are use to a lot of snow, but anytime you get this much at one time it slows everything down. So I think now we may get our white Christmas. More snow expected tonight, I can't wait. My back is sore and I am running out of room to throw the snow.
